Custom-wound 408 pickups give you endless toneWhen PRS released their Signature Limited model, everyone who got a chance to check out the new 408 pickups was absolutely blown away. But true to his perfectionist nature, Paul Reed Smith continued to tweak these 100% proprietary pickups to perfection. In fact, he discovered that by tightening up the pickup field on a 408 Bass pickup and widening the field of the treble pickup, he was able to extend the guitar's tonal spectrum significantly.
