A work of art in itself

Bought this to house my PRS S2 Vela, and it is worth every penny. Very sturdy/protective, and has plenty of storage inside for straps, picks, wireless transmitter, etc. Beautiful as well, with the PRS birds along the front, lower right edge of the case.

Highly recommend.

Great protection, poor storage

Just got this case in...it fits the guitar great (non-PRS guitar), seems really solid and well protected. But there are two gripes I have (that have nothing to do with fit/protection).

1. The latches have little tabs at the hinge side that look like they're supposed to contact with the case to hold the latches open. There's barely enough friction for the latches to stay open and I have to open them slowly or they fall back down and latch just enough to keep me from opening the case. Wouldn't be a problem if I had 3 hands, one for each latch, but as it stands I only have two and find myself opening all 3 latches, then reopening one because it closed, then reopening another because it closed while I reopened the first that closed, etc, etc.

2. The storage compartments are really small. I've never had a problem fitting a strap in a storage compartment on a case until now. In longer G&G style cases I can fold a strap in half, maybe a little more and it's long enough to fit fine. These compartments are both short and shallow. Great for picks or trem bar or small tools, but not great for a strap. I'd rather have one large really useful compartment than two small ok compartments.
