This thing would be awe for a couple guitarists and singers. We pushed it to the max and it did alright. We had a bass, 2 electric guitars, 2 singers and drums using a Yamaha EAD10 module in mono. This thing is NOT 200 watts RMS or 2000 watts peak it may be 2000 watts peak to peak (roughly 700 watts) but it did ok for a small gather and we were outdoors. We definitely found the limiter setpoint. If you have a small acoustic group, this would be perfect. Be aware this thing is big and heavy. I had to move it by taking it apart first.

The Speaker and mix works as intended.

The sad part is the plastic can easily break on shipping by age.
The plastic clip to put together the speaker & mixer was broken.
The latch to put cables away keeps falling off.

The bottom line is if purchasing as just a speaker and mix, then it works fine.

I had no idea. It had actually been that long since I purchased this little system.
It is dependable and good for a variety of small gigs, Has been used to cover a high school gym, outdoor gigs & med sized churches.
I baby my equipment, but it has traveled along and is used for practice as well. A clip on the side is broken,and has normal wear & tear. The on board effects are good enough and accepts an optional foot pedal so you can kill effects while speaking.
Supplemented with a small powered monitor, it does a great job.

This is a great product for practice gigs or even for a small outside band gig. The staff at Sweetwater will even help you with advice. To let you know if this is something for you or if you may need something bigger for your needs. You'll have assistance no matter what you decide.

My singing group ordered this system to use at smaller church's. We have an big trailer full of high quality (but also heavy) equipment, that we normally use, but this tiny system has surpassed our expectations, and we use it now as our primary sound system without any issues.
It has a great sound quality, and it is simple and easy to use and breakdown. The Bluetooth is a plus. Overall we are highly satisfied with this product and with Sweetwater customer service!

I bought this for our Kids area at church. Its in a high school gym. This system was plenty loud and very easy for our volunteers to use. Highly recommend this PA.

I haven't explored all the capabilities yet; can say I like the system and would recommend it!
Ease of transport, setup, use, and take-down is a huge plus.
Power to spare.
Other valuable features: Bluetooth, on-board feedback control, equalizer system, and effects system.

I think its a good machine for the money. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 because of few things. It needs larger wheels instead of the small ones it currently has. Also the inflated 2000 Watt claim isn't correct, at best it is 200 watts system, and specs don't really tell you if 2000 watt is RMS or Peak Power. Sound is clean and crisp.

We just purchased this unit for our church and it is better than we expected. The sound is incredible and performs very well outdoors. There are lots of various inputs like Bluetooth and stereo along with multiple XLR ports. The mics work great along with Bluetooth playing. I would definitely recommend this unit for an outdoor gathering for about 300-500 people.

Having gotten 4 years and about 800 mostly outdoor salt-air gigs out of my previous EPA900, the PPA2000BT was a no-brainer for me. Instead of three trips toting 2 heavy speakers and the amp, these portables nest and roll, turning that into one trip rolling. The latches and frame are the same as my old one, and all of those still work after tons of abuse. Clear sound, intuitive setup and use. Compact size without sacrificing sound quality.

the bluetooth never really worked...i called and was told I needed to pay to ship it to them to fix...forget it....continued to use it hard-wired. Only used it 15-20 times and it died. Just kinda' glitchy the entire time.
Very disaapointed

I ordered this portable PA system on the phone from Mark Stein at Sweetwater. This gear saved the day for us, it delivered on a Friday, I couldn't set it up until Saturday night after our cinema feature was over, It only took me about 5 minutes to set up and fire it up and Oh the sound, it was so clear and without any distortion. We used it for our Community Church service and held it at our theater on Sunday morning. There were close to 200 people there and not one person complained of not being able to hear it or the clarity of the sound. I can't wait to use it for a music gig. Thanks, Sweetwater and Mark for saving the day for us.

This is and excellent system for the money. You can't buy more system for the money and the sound that it produces is high quality.

"Blown Away" sums up my review. Ive used mine for a year now and waited to post the review to test them out. They are extremely clear at every volume level and they are EXTREMELY loud. I host outdoor events for 200-300 people, which requires more volume than indoor events. The clarity at high volumes is incredible. They have done twice what I expected and Zak was incredibly helpful when I purchased. Ordered on a Thursday morning, got the setup Friday at 5:00pm.

The system needs some improvements.
CONS:
I was excited to get this system thinking the 2000 watt will really be loud, but it was not, even at its maximum volume setting. There are no effects instructions, you will have to experiment to see which one is preferred; however, you will need it to set every time the system is re-powered due to its digital nature and lack of non-volatile memory.

The wheels are too small and the whole unit wobbles when rolled.
Speakers' latches are so flimsy and weak and break off easily. One came broken in the box and second broke off a few days later.

Despite the cons above, Sweetwater was very responsive and promised to replace the broken parts.

PROS:
Bluetooth is an excellent feature and works nicely.
I used Ultralink ULM202USB wireless mics, they seemed louder than the included XLR mic; will probably try another more pro wireless system.

We use this in a small church setting… And some outdoor events with absolutely no problem

The sound quality in every range is excellent. Perfect crystal clear highs and pounding bass. However you adjust it, it's going to sound awesome. The clips don't seem super durable but if you aren't negligent, they work perfect. Bluetooth syncs in 5 seconds. Goes together in less than a minute. It's loud enough to where you don't want to be within 10 feet of the speakers if it's turned up around 80%. I'm very impressed with the sound quality and spl for the price.

Very easy to use and set up with gigantic power.Most venues are to small for our large sound system but to big for our Passport that's why this was a perfect addition to our band

Right out of the box one of the cheap hasps was broken I now use a tie down ratching strap. I bought different hasps to put on it but one of the speakers drivers sounds raspy, Bug or Moisture on main horn cannot clear waiting to see if I can purchase a replacement, even though its under warranty I would fix it myself if I could no local repair places according to local dealers would have to pay shipping. If I can get a complete new speaker I will attempt the new clasps. The sound is awesome for medium venues bluetooth works great I like the portability I get with the usb microphones but raised controls on the microphones are bad for karaoke events.

Positives: Quality effects, quality Bluetooth compatibility, easy to use, great sound.

Negatives: It has two USELESS wheels which are meant to help you transport it instead of.carrying it. Unfortunately the manufacturers were retarded and decided to place.the two wheels near the centre of it so it's like wheeling a 30kg seesaw and it just.constantly scrapes the ground and is tremendous labour if the ground is not perfect smooth. There have been many times the whole thing has tipped over and I have to dive to save it from doing more damage. It's also a hard forearm workout stabilising it while walking with it. Hopeless manufacturers, never seen anything more pathetic.

The clasps are poor quality and I fear that they will break soon. Sometimes I feel they wheel come apart as I'm moving it around.

Low volume, suitable just for small venues. Don't let the 2000w get you too excited. Though it helps generate a nicer bass end levels it.doesn't help on overall volume. Also, when volume is up too high levels will peak and sound will be awful.

Microphone that came with.it is very faulty and cuts in and out easily.Tested with many different leads and same problem. I may be the only one but nonetheless still an inconvenience.

Quite heavy for portable PA. Extremely uncomfortable when poor wheel design. Too heavy for bad manufacturers is all.

No mid-range level control. Only 'high' and 'low'.

Effects are registered to every channel, you cannot allocate different effects to different channels.

No foldback option.

Cannot join speakers with more speakers. You're stuck with just these two speakers.

Poor overall for manufacturing. The back panel door of the mixer is also fragile so be careful. I feel like this PA is not designed to last the years. I have no idea what they were thinking putting two wheels in the middle of the it. It's almost a hilarious prank.

I'd recommend going for better options. This option may be cheaper but that's because the quality is cheaper. Overall it is definitely a good sound. But I don't believe it will last even a year, I've had it.for 2 months and it's already fallen over twice and has horrible scrapes on it thanks to the genius who decided to put 2 wheels in the centre of it.
I'd recommend buying a great yamaha mixer and nice jbl amplified speakers and a trolley. Similar price and 10 times the power and value minus the Bluetooth.

This is a nice sounding PA, but with some glitches. ie No documentation on effects, effects are global and cannot be assigned to each channel independently so they are virtually useless to me. It would be so much better if I could assign Reverb to my vocal channel, and a different effect on a different channel. It would also be so helpful to have a list of the effects and the differences between them. As far as I can tell you have to choose each one and try to test it out to see what it does. I do like the portability, and the sound of the PA although it is quite heavy. The included mic sounds good to me although I have ended up using one of my other mics for my vocals. It will work out fine for me, using stereo line inputs for CDs with backing music, 1 channel for vocal and 1 channel for acoustic guitar using a reverb effect. There is a wireless option for mics, but it apparently requires Behringer equipment. Overall I'm OK with it, but it could have been so much better.

I have been using since November when it shipped, the sound is simply awesome nothing but raves from my karaoke singers they all claim it is the best sounding system they have performed on.I am a sound man for my church so I know great sound. The weak area is the retaining clasps, I use ratcheting strap to secure it together as it is a heavy unit.
