Not good enough
The body of the case is solid enough but the hardware fittings are shoddy workmanship. Locks and clasps not properly aligned and a bit of a struggle to close. Key operation also hard to to use not smooth at all. I think I'll give up on using Fender cases for Fender basses. How this thing passed inspection as the included tag states is a joke. Sad, it would truly be nice to have my Fender products secured by properly constructed cases. I guess it's true, 3rd party products outperform Fender. Fender relying company name and not quality manufacturing.
Awesome classic hardshell case.
Received my new Bass case today and rested my Fender Jazz in it. It was like they were meant to be together. Perfect fit and plenty of room for accessories. Thanks Sweetwater!
Fender bass case
Just like the old 70's fender cases. Works like it should, the Vintera II Telecaster bass is about a 1/4 inch smaller on one side of the case, not a big deal
My favorite bass case ~ classic Fender style!
My #1 choice for any bass that will fit (which are many, P bass style). This case reminds me of the 70's Fender cases… wrapped, stitched leather ends, beautiful interior. Streamlined, not bulky. Made of wood, not plastic. Tolex covering, like a speaker cab. Pure class.
Cheesy and low quality case
I returned this case because it severely lacks build
quality. It's not durable. The fake leather bumpers on each side are glued on and will peel off easily. The fake stitches are laughable. It's a nice looking case, aesthetically, but not something I'd want to put a quality instrument into. I ended up finding a nice G&G made in USA which I really like and is built to higher quality standards.
Fender Bass Hard Case
Top seems flimsy/wobbly when open. Finish of the gear box inside the case looks cheap and barely finished. Edges of the thin pleather liner are barely glued to the fuzzy fabric around the edges. Poor QC. See picture. Maybe not surprising but by comparison, the G&L hard case (made in USA) I have with a G&L guitar seems to be much higher quality.

It's a good case
This case will protect your valuable instrument for years to come. I tried to find a better, less expensive case but couldn't. It's a little expensive (Fender name).
Very Nice Case at Good Price
I purchased this case to transport a Fender-style Precision "PartsBass" assembled from premium parts. The fit of the instrument inside the case is very good and the overall quality high for the reasonable price.

Just What I Was Looking For
This is a well made case that fits my P bass like a glove. It's good looking and has the Fender logo on it. Price was right in comparison to other cases and Sweetwater handled the transaction in its usual excellent manner. Josh was particularly helpful in picking this case for my bass. Bought to replace the gig bag
Fits the Jazz like a glove. Well made, nice plush interior. The only drawback is that, coupled with my bass, it's quite heavy.
