It was time to go from a clip-on tuner to a floor stomp model - for numerous personal reasons. After researching what's out there on the market, I ultimately went with the Korg Pitchblack X, and it has NOT been a disappointment! Blends in nicely with my other floor gear, spot on tuning, and EXTREMELY easy to see. LOVE THIS TUNER!

The display is so easy to read!

I originally tried the Peterson Strobe HD and realized I just don't care for strobe tuning. It just doesn't work for me. I took a chance on this one and it does not disappoint. The large note and meters are so nice and bright on stage. Easy to see with no effort. Also, an accurate tuner that had allowed me to tune up and check my tuning very quickly. I just couldn't get fast and accurate tuning on stage or off with the Peterson.

I have used several inexpensive tuners in the past and they were all bad. Lights too dim, lights too bright, too small, slow to react.
This tuner is Perfect. Easy to see the steps and when you hit the perfect pitch, reacts instantly, even with guitar volume turned down to almost off position. Very accurate and easy to use. Would recommend.

It's a great little tuner and a great addition to my setup. I just wish the input and bypass were easier to read.

The Korg Pitchblack X Chromatic Pedal Tuner is the best tuner I've used. Easy to use and provides discrete tuning! Great for live shows!!! No unwanted noise while tuning. Pedal allows for quick accurate tuning as well as a professional look.

I'm very happy with this tuner. It's very accurate and the screen is large and bright. I just wish it was colorful instead of a white light against a dark background.

I've never owned a pedal tuner until now. I don't need anything more than this! It's perfect.

I have multiple pedalboards and multiple tuners. (My point is that this is not my first rodeo) I decided to order a Pitchback X (because I own, use and love 3 Korg Pitchback Mini tuners on my small pedalboards) instead of paying the shipping/repair cost for 'another' high end tuner that failed me. THIS TUNER IS HIGHLY VISIBLE, ACCURATE AND HAS AN OPTIONAL OUTPUT BUFFER which is what I want. On my (big) electric pedalboard I run it as a side chain to my volume pedal. (It worked so well [read that as I can see it really well and it is easy to use ] on my electric board that i pulled it and tried it on my (big) acoustic board). Today I am ordering another Pitchback X to use as follows: Last in line to work as a tuner/signal cut and output buffer. This is IMO the best tuner that I have found yet for gigging musicians for indoor and outdoor gigs. I have a lot of time money and emotional effort invested in 'my music'. I wish that I found this pedal a long time ago.

Ilike this Korg tuner. My wife bought me a Korg GA-30 many years ago. It was great, but it is a whole lot

easier to use the Pitch Black Tuner. I like that it is adjustable. I have a Roland RD-08 that I can use to tune the

guitar. Since the Pitch Black frequency can be changed, it is good to be able to check against another instrument. I saw an all girl trio from Florida, not to drop names, using pedal tuners when doing live shows. I started looking for a descent

pedal tuner. I had experience with Korg, so I new what to look for. This thing is fantastic and I would highly recommend it.

Great tuner with bypass feature, and doesn't effect my signal quality.

This tuner makes it easy to tune up, and works from pitch black to bright sunshine.

Not impressed with the quality of Korg products. I had the Pitch Black pedal tuner but the battery connector split and fell apart. I also had the rack mount tuner and the quality was garbage. All plastic. Would not buy either again. I have a Boss tuner that I've had for over 20 years and it still works fine.

I bought the predecessor to this pedal and it broke inside of six months. They sent me this one to replace it and it broke inside of three months. I've been waiting almost three months for them to replace it again because supposedly they're out of stock. Never buying another Korg tuner.

I love my Korg Pitchblack X Custom Pedal Tuner. It does exactly what it says it will do. It has a nice quiet foot switch, easy to read display and looks great! This is good for stage and practice.

After many years as a drummer, I played a gig as a Bassist for the first time. I needed a tuner that I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I could see while on stage...and I am glad I chose this one. It has a large, bright display, automatically mutes when clicked to tune, and also has several options to choose from to display your tuning. It's very well designed and I highly recommend it!
