These Powerstroke 4 coated heads are exactly world class tone,
as soon as they are mounted and tuned. From finger tight on up, there is
nothing here but pure phat tone, tune them higher and get a range of pitches that still
maintain round full and punchy sound, minumumover ring, medium fast decay, with no moongells,
no felt strips, no muffler required: these just work right off the bat.
Truly the only thing wrong with these heads is
it took Remo this long to actually get these to market.
These paired with DW Clear/Coated as resonant heads and you have world class tone
on every drum. Awesome for recording and performing alike.

Best sounding drum head i have ever used right out of the box on Toms for rock. No moon gel needed......clear or coated recommended!

Been hip to the PS4 and P77 for 2 years now and it's amazing. They last long and have great tonality if you want punchy midrange tones. They honestly sound great tuned high for jazz gigs or really low for phat flat sounds.

10/10 would recommend!
