The Cordoba Mini is very special - and it takes special strings. This set was designed in collaboration with Italian string maker Aquila to give you optimized tone and response for your travel guitar's petite size and unique characteristics. Cordoba Mini Strings are made from Aquila's SuperNylgut - a Sweetwater favorite - for excellent tone and tuning stability. They feature a ball end for easy installation.
Cannot make it up to pitch without breaking high E string
I bought two sets of these when I bought the mini guitar. I tried changing the strings for the first time and I broke the high e from both sets, one of them twice. These strings are not suitable for purpose.
Five decent strings
They play well, but the high A string breaks very easily. I've bought multiple packs just to replace the high A. More often than not I'm left with five strings to play with.

These seem to be the same as high tension clerical guitar strings .
They round great and are less expe3 than high tension nylon guitar strings .
They are good but the Qc is inconsistent some sets last a long time , some break the 1st day or week.
The ones I have on now have lasted the way they should .
I will keep buying them till I can find a less expensive good sounding alternative

Great strings! Couldn"t be happier with the tone and quality. The Córdoba mini is a fabulous instrument and these strings help bring out its unique voice

Maybe it"s how you string them up I now run the untied string through the string hole on the upper three ,and then pull them up at the sound hole. Tie the ball on and pull the string to the bridge , placing the slotted pin in and finish by tieing the string to the tuner shaft and tighten. I"m fingerpicking like a wild man with my fresh Cordoba mini strings. Could be you got a bad batch, but I"m really enjoying mine. How about sending a free set for my sterling review SWEETWATER!
Don't buy
These strings are absolute trash. I bought three sets, and broke my high A string EVERY TIME I tried to tune, because they couldn't take the tension, that they're supposed to be able to handle. Now I have 2 unused sets of strings, and set on my mini, but no high A. I'm rockin' a 5 string guitar. Thanks, Cordoba...
