What can you really say about a case? Well, for this one it does the job of keeping my bass safe and secure when not playing. It is constructed very well while also being very light weight.

I got this case to protect my Sire Marcus Miller M7 bass during airline travel. On a recent trip from California to Hawaii, my bass was perfectly protected. No damage whatsoever. For a five star rating, I would like to have taken another trip or two, but so far, gtreat. Also, this.case is a guaranteed fit by Sweetwater. The fit was spot on.

I ordered this case when ordering an Ibanez SR600E bass. The case is made well. The latches move well but care should be taken when closing the case and securing the latches. I recommend this case and Sweetwater shipped my bass in the case. First time I could afford a case and bass at the same time. Big smile on my face when I opened it up! Kudos Sweetwater.

I had read the previous reviews that customers sent to Sweetwater and almost didn't buy this but given Sweetwaters reputation for making things right I took a chance and wasn't disappointed. I've had my case a few short weeks and even though it has been banged around a bit I am having no issues. My Ibanez SR370E fits as it should along with my 3 inch wide strap. I would recommend it for an Ibanez bass.

Overall it's a nice case. I wish there was more room to store things such as an extra sets of strings, cable(s), etc. There is some storage, but it's very limited. As other have stated though, and it has happened to me now, the rubber feet break off very easily. I set the case on our tile floor and pushed it a few inches to get it out of the way and one of the feet broke off. The rivets holding them in are very small. Once they all break, which I feel they will, the case will be resting on the hinges when set down in it's upright position.

This is a nice case but the handle to the case fell off after only having it for a few months, a long period of that time I wasn't even using the case. Now it's unusable.

Fits my Ibanez Standard SR405EQM perfectly. Not much else to say. Great fit, tough case, secure (non-generic key lock), and lightweight. The Sweetwater team did a great job in making sure I got the best case for my bass.

A little expensive, but fits my SRH505F very well. Storage compartments are small but adequate.

This case is well built and has nice features like recessed storage.

Great case. Fits my SRF705 snugly. I agree with all the kudos. However it appears to have one weak point. The feet are its weakness. They are bolted on by a slender rivet which seems to be easily broken. You don't want to slide the case with the feet on the surface. Mine broke as I took it out of my car. Sweetwater was great and replaced the case but you'll need to be careful. Other than that - it is a perfect fit.

Great quality, perfect fit and heavy duty case. This case fit my Ibanez sr600e perfectly. Had to wait a while to get it because of the backorder. It was definitely worth the wait. I bought two as they are a perfect fit for my two fretless, the Ibanez SRH505F Fretless Bass Guitar - Natural Browned Burst Flat and Ibanez Gary Willis Signature GWB35 Fretless 5-string Bass Guitar - Black Flat. A nice cushioned snug fit, but not so tight I have to jam the bass in like other's cases. I highly recommend this model for these two basses. However, not a lot of room to store gear in them so plan on a seperate gear bag. I don't know about you but I wouldn't trust cables and such flapping around in there while I'm transporting my bass. However, to protect "the bass," it's perfect.

Some mentioned the large gap. Mine came with that too. I'm returning it today, and hoping that the gator case I'm getting instead actually fits the guitar, and doesn't have similar issues.

Why would a $ case that is supposed to protect a much more expensive guitar not be able to protect itself?

This is a rugged, attractive, well-built case that fits my new Sire Marcus Miller M7 5-string beautifully, which did not come with a case or a gig bag of its own. Kudos to Sweetwater for automatically listing this Ibanez case as a "fit-certified" accessory when I ordered my Sire bass. I would never have known otherwise.

The first case I received had a large gap in the corner. I returned and received another one that was slightly better.
Less than 3 months later of light use, one of the stands have broke off.
I would expect a lot more for a $ case.

This was a sure fit recommendation by my gear advisor Ryan Springer, thank you! My bass is snug, safe and ready to travel.

Pros - fits my Ibanez bass perfectly, looks nice, has the Ibanez logo which I appreciate, has extra storage for, well you know, extras!
Cons - It's a little flimsy. The edges of the top and bottom don't align perfectly in all spots when closed. They are off by maybe .5 - 1mm in a few spots. It's not a huge deal, but it is noticeable if you look closely. I have no regrets buying this case but I do believe their are better options. FYI this is made in China.

I received this case 5/11/22 and it's okay. But I would expect for a $ case it would actually close all the way. With the case shut there is a large gap the corner. Not sure if it's a shipping issue or a manufacturing issue.

Overall it's brilliant….apart from one thing. Mine does not lock! The pictures on Sweetwater's and Ibanez's websites show that the latch closest to the middle is lockable. I must have bought the only MB300C IN THE WORLD without any lockable latches.

It hurts me to say this, because I love Sweetwater, but they dropped the ball on this one. I bought my lovely Ibanez SR1105B and the hardshell case at the same time, so they asked me if I wanted to have the bass shipped to me IN the new case. Naturally, I said yes. The bass arrived in its case and both were in great condition. However, I'm completely baffled as to how the people at Sweetwater put the bass in the case and latched it up without thinking to lock it. The keys came in the gig bag which came in a separate box, which makes sense, but shouldn't locking the case be part of the shipping process? If they had tried to lock it, they would have realized that it couldn't lock and this could have been avoided.

Not to mention, how was a non-lockable MB300C even in stock in the first place? I'm absolutely dumbfounded.

Again, Sweetwater has always been so good to me, but this is a bit more than a minor inconvenience. A truly good case HAS TO be able to lock. I'm shocked that this fell through the cracks. I guess these things happen but I'm accustomed to expecting perfection from Sweetwater. I've never had a reason not to!

If your looking for a case for your Ibanez sound gear Don't look any further , this case is a perfect fits like a glove case and not to mention it has the cool locks on the case that seem to close by themselves because their so smooth this case is around the same ballpark price as some of the Better cases, so why not go ahead and get the case that says Ibanez on the side if your a proud Ibanez player like I am and the construction is well built and ready for the road . Shout out to Christian Good with that last name u can't get any better sales engineer.

The bass fits in the case like a hand in a glove. There are three storage compartments. A small one for picks or keys, one for your strap, and a deep long one for cords or pedals. The case has cushioned pads designed to seal these compartments when the case is closed. No lids to break or wear out. The case has feet on the bottom so it sits upright nicely. Very modern look and very light. Strong enough to do the job without weighing too much.

My SRF 705 Fretless fits perfectly in this case! Highly recommend!

I love this case, it secures the bass very well. But there's no place to hold accessories in the case. Also the bass won't fit with the shoulder strap on attached, so I have to take it on and off before and after every time I play...slight annoyance.

I rec'd my Ibanez MB300C yesterday, the exterior carton had a lot dings and holes in it so I crossed my fingers as I removed it from the carton. It was snuggled inside a long black cloth bag and after removing it from this bag I could see it was in pristine condition. I immediately went and got my Ibanez SRX-705 5 string bass and introduced it to this new case....what a marriage, a perfect match. The best part about the whole transaction was that I saved over $34.00 buying thru Sweetwater rather than any of the other music equipment supplies I checked online.

I bought this case for my SRF706 bass. I like the fit and latches. The only drawback is storage is limited.

I have an Ibanez SR 405 Bass that was needing more protection than its gig bag. When I found this great looking and Ibanez branded case and saw it was for the SR basses, I knew this was what I was looking for. Great quality, tough exterior and my bass fits in there like a glove. Completely satisfied and would highly recommend it. The cherry on top being top notch service from Sweetwater.

I ordered this case along with my Ibanez SR Soundgear bass. In fact, my bass was shipped inside of it, and everything arrived in perfect condition. I was very impressed with the design and construction of the case, from its hardshell exterior and the latches that secure the case when it is closed, to the plush, form fitting interior that secures and protects my bass when I am transporting it. I think it is a great value for the price, and I would highly recommend purchasing the one that is designed for the Ibanez bass that you purchase.

I just received my new Ibanez hardshell case for my bass, and could not be happier. It is super sturdy, very plush inside, and overall over exceeded my highest expectations for the case.

Aesthetically pleasing, lightweight plenty of room.

Perfectly molded to fit my Soundgear bass, no movement or shifting at all.

My only complaint would be that every time I open it, my picks are everywhere! There's nothing to keep the little things in their respective compartments.

Other than that, it's the perfect case for any Soundgear model.

This case fits my Ibanez bass perfectly with no shifting during transportation. Really nice!

I can understand all the good reviews on this case, However I'm always expecting more practicality on something like this. Here are my concerns that bring down my rating.

Bad:

The plastic shell and hinges aren't as durable as other HSC. I had to return my initial one because it was dented.

Very little storage .. probably the most disappointing thing about the case.

When opening the case while upright leaning against the wall, the bass slips out at the bottom. That doesn't happen with my other hard shell cases.

The case is unstable when standing upright, especially when open It would help if feet were added to the bottom end of the case.

It would also help if there was a visual indicater showing what side is the top when laying flat.

For the price it definitely should be better.

Bass sits snug in the cavity. (SR models)

Quality throughout.
Latch mechanisms are first rate!
Fit the Ibanez 5-string bass I purchased (at the same time) like a glove.

I've had all sorts of guitar cases, including Anvil flight case (which weighed a ton). As for moulded cases, I must say that, except for one thing, this Ibanez case is the very best I have ever seen. The hardware is excellent and it is reasonably light and well-balanced, while offering good protection.

My objection is that the storage compartments don't have lids. Fabric-covered foam pads in the lid keep everything in place. Not only can things dump out and small items slip out, but it means that everyone can see all your stuff.

With many, this wouldn't be a problem. For me, it is the only reason why I do not give it five stars.

guitar fittes perfect just what I needed thanks

I have an SR505 with the previous version of this case, which I think is just terrific, and which I didn't think could be improved upon. However, Ibanez has managed to do just that. Specifically, the latches are upgraded and significantly improved. I can heartily endorse this case for any of the SR line of Ibanez basses. The fit is perfect, and protection is superb.

What can I say... It is a great case for your Ibanez Soundgear ;)

I ordered this case for my Ibanez SR375 because i wanted a snug fit to protect my bass. That's exactly whatI found. Fits so tight I questioned if it would close correctly, which it did. I think my bass is about as safe as I could possibly make it. Thank you Sweetwater for making me feel like a valued customer. This was my first time ordering and I was truly impressed.

Perfect fit for my SR305!

Love the rounded edges, helps to pack it into smaller spaces. Holds my SR30th ALMOST perfectly. The bass fits in the case with no problem and it closes perfectly, but it kind of looks like it holds the bass in place by the neck a little more, than it does by the body. When its closed there is absolutely no rattling around inside, so I guess it's fine, but it did worry me initially. I do feel like it protects my bass very well however. It looks like it will last a very long time. The 4 latches are really easy to open and made of heavy duty plastic instead of the usual annoying metal ones. Comes with 2 keys to lock one of the latches. Good storage space for a strap, cable or two, and a clip on tuner.

Gotta give it 5 stars for an extremely well thought out case. Plus it looks really cool compared to my older cases.

This is a very nice case that actually fits the Ibanez SR series basses perfectly. I have both an older SR series bass and a new Premium bass and they both fit great. I am pleased that Ibanez finally came out with a case that is a huge upgrade to the Gig Bags that come standard with the SR basses. I am planning on buying a second one. My only criticism is that the case could use just a little more storage space. Other than that, I am very pleased.
