Own a piece of history!
If you've ever wanted to know what the first Les Paul looked, felt, and sounded like, the Les Paul Tribute 1952 is the closest thing you'll find to the original. Even if you are lucky enough to find an original, aside from how much more a museum-quality model would cost, it would sound like well aged guitar. What you get with Gibson's Les Paul Tribute 1952 reissue is feeling of being able to go back in time and experience the original Les Paul the way that the contemporary guitarists of a half a century ago did. And because it's treated with the same nitro-cellulose finish as the original, your Les Paul Tribute 1952 will only continue to become more beautiful with age.

Authentic details for classic tone
Most people don't think of P-90s or a trapeze-style tailpiece on a Les Paul, but those are both original parts of Les Paul's design. In fact, the trapeze tailpiece was invented and patented by Les Paul at the time of his original solidbody guitar's production and used until the 1958 model. P-90s were originally produced by Gibson as early as 1946, and be 1952 had become the standard pickup. Although modern Les Paul models feature humbuckers of one sort or another, the Les Paul Tribute 1952 gives you a taste of the tone of a truly authentic Gibson.

Certifiable recreation of a legendary guitar
When you receive your Les Paul Tribute 1952, you are getting a certifiably authentic recreation. Each of these tributes to the legacy of the great inventor and guitarist is part of a highly limited production run, restricted to six guitars for each of Les Paul's 94 years, or a total of 564 guitars. The Les Paul Tribute 1952 is marked with a special engraved truss rod cover.
