Very nice red block

All very good: sound, quality, flexible mounting (middle or on the side), and indestructible. You can vary the volume based on how you hit it but know that a solid hit with the shoulder of the stick can be very loud.

Watching Chad Smith use this convinced me to get one, and the applications are endless depending on which side of the kit I set it up. I have it to my right, clamped to a cymbal stand with my cowbell, for now. Excellent service by Sweetwater, as usual. Shout out to Ben Elder!

My son the drummer, and his siblings all hate it! It's a loud piece of percussion, not recommended for family settings!

The Jam Block will give you that perfect side-stick/wood block sound everytime you hit it. No more searching for that consistent side-stick position with your sticks on the snare rim. I prefer the red one, but I knew another drummer that prefered the blue one (Jam Block), which has a higher pitch. Either way, I consider it an essential part of my kit.

I wanted to add some new sounds to my drum set. I seen these Jam Blocks while browsing though Sweetwater web site. I decided on the Red one but I'm going to add a couple more. The Jam Block is easy to install on a cymbal arm or an L rod. It's very loud! You don't have to hit it hard for it to be heard. The block is built to last. You can wack on it and no movement. Cow bells have their use but sense I got this Jam Block the cow bell is a little lonely! Good buy! And Sweetwater as usual has a great staff that can answer any questions you might have. I use to buy my equipment from a different company, but when I tried Sweetwater I said, "where have you been all my life." And I was lucky when I called for the first time and Jeff Bohan answered and started me off on all my great purchases. I'm sure all the sales engineers are just as knowledgeable.

Sounds great, fairly indestructible, light weight and easy to mount. ( Looks good on the kit too!)

I really love this Jam Block! A metal cow bell has its uses but this Red Jam block is a great addition to my drum set. I’m going to get the Blue Jam Block also after hearing the Red one. The mount is great. The block doesn’t move at all. You really don’t have to hit this Block hard to get a massive sound.

Very Loud/Cutting and has a tone that i fell in love with the first time i hit it, very nice vibrant Color. The mounting hardware is study, however the wing nut that attaches the block to the hardware loosens at times. This Block is sure to last a very long time! Sweetwater did an absolutely amazing job as always with customer service as well as with delivery!
