Yep, it shreds.
I had read some negative things from the net on guitars made in Indonesia. I just want to say that mine came in perfect condition. Nothing was wrong with it at all. Absolutely perfect. Everything was as expected.
I don't own this guitar(yet), just a comment.
I like that they leave the back of the neck unfinished, but aesthetically I would love to see that back neck at least stained black or darkened somehow while keeping the purpose of the bare neck to a degree.
My kinda guitar !!!!
First of all I wanna thank Ben for calling me about this guitar as I preordered it. As soon as it came from the factory it came straight to my house !!!! In tune straight out of the box! The guitar is nicely set up and I couldn't find anything wrong with it.
Thanks again to Ben and Sweetwater for an awesome guitar! Never gonna order from any other website again.
Great
Will (hopefully) never get rid of this guitar. I surprisingly like the V shape. Plays great, great electronics, great hardware. Could stay in tune a LITTLE better. But I wouldn't let it deter me. Love playing this guitar. Feels much nicer to play, sounds better than my other (comparable) guitars, and great hardware to boot.
Surprisingly excellent!
This guitar really surprised me! My experience with Indonesian guitars has not been great up to this point, but this guitar changes that. The neck is excellent. One of the most comfortable necks I have played. I love the compound radius. It gives a nice balance across the fretboard. I have owned some neck throughs with and without Floyd's from other companies, and have had issues with sustain and resonance in the guitar in the past, but this one sustains really well. Notes will hang out for a long time...longer than any one could really ever need. Very loud acoustically. Has a nice fat, chunky, slightly scooped sound with the JB. I swapped the pickups for Fishman Fluence Moderns. I am not a huge JB pickup fan. The guitar is a nice balanced weight, not too heavy, not light enough to feel like a toy. No neck dive, either.
I was honestly not expecting much from this guitar, but its a keeper, for sure. Sounds great, plays great, really comfortable the way it sits while standing. Just overall really happy with this thing.
