Learning Timing
I am gradually working the metronome into my practice. It's like learning to walk and I am very clumsy.

Perfect!
Very happy with this purchase. The Korg metronome is easy to use, looks great sitting on the piano, and due to Sweetwaters excellent customer service, arrived in time for Christmas. Thanks to my personal rep Charlie Davis. It doesn't get any better.
Korg kdm 3
Nice unit, has adjustable sound for us hearing impaired, different sounds to choose from... Its great for keeping steady timing...
Great!!!
Easy to use and sounds good!
The Best Metronome
Compact and beautiful design, the best quality as Korg always delivers! Very recommended!
It needs to become rechargeable and backlit
This is hard to read in the dark and has four AAA batteries, it should become rechargeable and backlit as a new model.
KORG KDM 3
Recently purchased a Nord Stage 4 digital piano and also bought the KDM 3 which works perfectly with the Nord. You simply plug the metronome into the eighth inch monitor in port on the back of the Nord. The KDM 3 can then be easily controlled on the device, itself. It is sturdy, small , plays lots of rhythms and has a nice assortment of voices. Since the Nord has a separate headphone input, it works great with my headphones or through my speakers. I had a Roland which had a nice built in metronome, but I hated shifting between sounds and the metronome. With its small size , it fits nicely right on the edge of my Nord music stand. For those who use a metronome a lot, this product is a time saver and a great product.
Superior Product & Customer Service
This little metronome is perfect. Small size, easy adjustments, and changeable audio tones.
Customer service with Mike Eads is simply the BEST. Always a provider of solutions.
I like it
Easy to adjust the BPM. It has a decent volume but I'm a drummer so I mostly rely on the flashing light to keep time. I find it helpful when practicing rudiments and such. Recommended.
Versatile metronome
Having owned a few metronome, this is the best.
Nice tool
Best Metronome that I have bought so far and for a great price, and I would buy it again.
New metronome.
KDM3 is a terrific machine, beautifully designed, solid weight, easy to use.
Almost good…
It's missing a backlit screen. How did they miss this easy feature? It's a decent metronome. However, without a backlight, its not worth the price imo.
Great product
So many different options and sounds it's amazing
Korg metronome
simple to use I don't Know how I lived without one
I haven't found anything I don't like about this metronome
Tic Toc, Tic Toc
Does the job and won't break the bank
Buy this one.
Easy function. GREAT volume.
Cheap plastic?
This metronome feels like it would break into a bunch of pieces if I accidentally dropped it on a hard floor. Internally it does its job in keeping simple metronomic time but looks and feels and probably is very cheap plastic. I don't remember if I looked at any reviews before I bought it but it probably shouldn't cost anymore than $25. Overpriced!
Does only the right things!
I bought the Korg KDM-3 so I could have a simple metronome that allowed for accented beats. I didn't want a elaborate programmable beast, and my trusty old-school metronomes just clicked with no indication of accents to indicate time signature.
The KDM-3 does just what I need, loud and clear. Setting tempos and signatures is easy and intuitive, and it puts out a LOT of sound when you need it. The display is easy to read, and the stop/start button on the top is a small stroke of genius. Highly recommended for any practicing player!
The only metronome I'll buy or recommend for my students
I was already a fan of KDM-2, but this updated version is even better! The thriple A batteries last forever, unlike the 9 volt more familiar models that have to be replaced frequently. The volume control has a wonder range that fits all study, class, etc. sitautions. It's a perfect metronome.
Very good
It works very well; it's easy to change the tempo, volume, number of beats, and so on. It would be nice if you could count a measure with subdivisions -- for example, a measure of 4/4 by pairs 8th notes, or a measure of 6/8 by triplets of 8th notes. Also, the timing selection descends from "0" beats to measure to the less common subdivisions to 8th notes -- it would be nice if it descended from 0 to two 8th notes first. Those are just minor preferences. Overall, it's a great tuner.
Korg KDM-3 Metronome
Great replacement for my old one. Has a lot of really useful features that I am still adjusting to using. The only concern I have, which on me, is getting used to the sounds offered with the metronome, after being used to the one and only click, click, click of the others. Nice outfit.
Excellent product
I can't imagine a better metronome. My daughter and I use it all the time. Easy, flexible, and every imaginable feature. The volume is great, but the flashing light is very helpful as well.
Quality Metronome
Decent build. Many nice features as mentioned in other reviews including several voice options, an audible tuner, headphone jack, etc. I like it.
Great metronome
This metronome is great I love the earphone Jack you can conect it to your amp and practice
Kong KDM-3 metronome
Easy to use and loud enough even with headphones on when practicing by myself with guitar. Works as advertised. Would recommend this.
Perfect little metronome
I've resisted using one of these for quite some time but have recently been convinced they are necessary. This one includes a timer which is quite handy for the practice routine I've come to use. It's loud enough to be clearly heard over headphones and apparently can be connected to your amp for guitar, although I haven't needed that feature yet. It's small enough to perch easily on your keyboard, or pretty much anywhere else for that matter. It's pricer than many but, for me, it's perfect.
Solid
Thanks! Reviewers were spot on solid.
It’s the little things
Love It.
I was looking for another metronome that had some extra features. Found it. Very easy to use and it has 8 different sounds.
I like the dial to set the BPM. Yeah a bit pricey but was worth it. Shout out to Derrick Meade my sales rep. and the Sweetwater team.
This is the perfect metronome.
There's different voicings for the sounds so you won't get tired of a digital click. There is an auxiliary out to connect to an amp or headphones. Haven't tested it against drums but with in ears that shouldn't be a problem at all. The battery has lasted me hours and hours of practice.
I believe this is the perfect metronome. It is said that everyone should at least own one. This is very affordable and you will find no trouble implementing it in your space.
Great!
Little expensive but the best!
Great Metronome
This is a robust and reliable metronome that is superior to my old Kliq Metropitch. I like the tone choices and the tap button on top to start/pause the metronome. I'm glad with the purchase.
do I really need a metronome?
Yes, I really need a metronome & this Korg KDM-3 is perfect for me! I am a 66 year old who took up guitar 3 years ago & while I a novice at best, I LOVE playing! I do have a couple of apps on my phone to keep the beat, so I truly didn't think I needed a metronome. When one of my fellow guitar friends suggested a metronome, I thought, ok ~ I'll try it.
This Korg is simple to use, easy to hear & has improved my practice sessions! So if you think you don't need it, you do!
This one has 19 beat patterns & 8 metronome sounds ~ easy to use.
Great metronome
Does everything I need it to do easy to use
Korg KDM-3 Digital Metronome
Great value and high quality with just the right amount of features!
Metronome
Perfect for my piano lessons with Rooted Music !
Metronome
I love the metronome, as it is a small and handy size. It has good sound variations which are clear, and the rhythm adjusts easily at one beat per minute increments. It serves my purposes perfectly. Thank you.
Nice metronome
I thought this metronome would be bigger than it is. For the size, it puts out a decent sound. It has several tones to choose from and changing beats and tempo is a breeze. I do wish it was a bit louder to use with my ensembles. It contains a headphone jack, which I'm hoping to try to use as an output into a larger speaker. Probably a better product for individual practice rather than a large ensemble. It is a very well made product.
KDM-3 Metronome
Works fantastic. Gives me visual and audio indication of the 1 beat. Can change the metronome sounds and is easy to operate.
Dont let the picture fool you its only about 3" tall and easily fits on a piano.
I have spent probably 5000 dollars at sweetwater and unfortunately this is the best item i have purchased. Simply because i new what i wanted it to do, and it does that very well.
Korg KDM-3
Works OK after I figured it out. Instructions are printed so small they are of little use. Still don't know if I am doing everything right.
easy to use, and loud enough for amped guitar
The tao tempo feature is great. The volume adjustments, and choice of different sounds, lets you find just the right setting to hear the rhythm over your instrument. I thought I would miss having a swinging arm to give me a visual cue, but there are blinking lights at the top of the device that give me what I need.
Great Metronome!
I needed a desktop metronome that did not take up a lot of space. I use it whenever I practice on guitar. The speaker volume is excellent. It is easy to adjust tempos. The tap function works great. The voices sound good--very crisp and clear. For each voice, the first note has a different timber, which makes it easy to identify as well as a visual via LEDs embedded in the Start/Stop button on the top. The size and weight of this device makes it easily transportable. Construction seems of good quality. My only complaint is the power On/Off button. It is one of the busiest buttons on the device, but is small, not easy to reach, and the device requires support when pressing. Overall, for the money, this is a good value and would buy it again. I give it 5 stars.
Great Study Aid
This metronome does the job, period. Not a lot of bells and whistles, it just works. It works so well I now have two of them and would purchase again if necessary. As usual, get service provided by Mike Conyers and Sweetwater.
Metronome
It works great! does everything I wanted it to do.
Just what I was looking for
Great metronome. Love the functions and the volume. This is the only metronome I've found that can be loud. Highly recommend
Trying it out
Once I learned how to use this simple machine it works great
Nice, louad and easy to use metronome
Smaller than I thought it would be, but that's a good thing. It is loud and does very well what it's supposed to do. Several different sounds that you can pick from. Nice buy, my son loves to practice sax with it.
Near perfect
The only thing missing is a backlight for the display - not every practice environment is perfectly lit. That being said, it is very loud and has a lot of features for the relatively small size.
Best digital metronome out there
Cool Features and Loud
After recently buying a few metronomes, this one's my favorite. If I want to practice quavers or triplets I don't have to think about it. This machine will click 'em off. The only drawback is the case shape might lead to butterfingers. I plan to tape a little sandpaper to mine. A really nice and loud metronome, love it.
loud
I have had many metronomes. None of which are loud enough to be heard easily over two violins. Great for lessons or for practice with a group. Until the KDM-3. This one is louder than the KDM-2. All other features are simple to use and useful.
