Amazing
Great for the price only thing is the fretwork is a bit rough but other than that man this thing is just amazing. Setup perfectly when I got it and has been a dream to play. Thinking about replacing the neck or getting someone to fix the rough fret edges.
As always Great Experience

Beautiful bass
I love Jackson basses this is the second one and won't be the last I'm having so much fun going through the tone possibility of this bass switching between passive and active in one guitar is amazing
Pro feel and sound.... Great Price
Purchased this bass 9 months ago and after hours of playing with various bands I am very impressed with it. It feels amazing, lightweight, very comfortable and ergonomic. The neck is great, feels very thin but has surprising room on the fretboard. The controls and electronics are good, they doo take a little practice to get used to (For example, the pickup blend knob feels reversed, i.e turn it away from the pickup you are choosing). The preamp sounds good, with a large sweep in treble, mid, and bass. And the versatility of pickup taps, and an active off switch allows me to blend in nearly any tone I want.
The build is very doo, not a single flaw of any kind on mine. Overall I highly recommend it.
A good first bass for a new player
I've played guitars for years, but never had a bass. I wanted something from a brand I was familiar with, and something that looked and sounded great. After watching and reading reviews, I decided this would be a good bass guitar to buy. After having it a while, it is fun to play and easy to play on. It's comfortable. I don't feel like I'm fighting with it while kicked back watching TV and playing on it.
Plugged into an amp or the Scarlett i2i, the sound is very clean. The switches and knobs all feel good, and the knobs are notched in the middle, which helps with balancing sounds where needed.
Overall, I really am happy with what I bought, and look forward to many years with it.
Great budget bass guitar
Not very experienced with bass but it has plenty of tone options the neck is better feeling than most guitars.
Awesome bass, however...
This is a nice bass. A REALLY NICE BASS. I was shocked by how premium it is. The price was nice as well. The pickup arrangement is sweet, the tone of the bass and the action are a surprise considering the price.
The only hangup I am having is the E and A strings buzz badly from 1st to 6th fret and somewhat buzz at fret 7.
A sales rep told me this was probably due to the shipping process but I'm not so sure. I think either:
1. The strings are too heavy (not likely)
2. The neck is twisted (might me the case)
3. The bridge saddles are a bit too low.
I wanted to adjust this myself as I have adjusted saddles a few times in the past but I fear the intonation might suffer. I need those high notes to resonate with the low notes, I like to use chords on the high end of the neck... Therefore I most definitely need the entire range of notes to not buzz and be in harmony with one another.
So, I suppose I will take this beauty to a shop and have a pro check the neck, drop the saddles and put slightly thinner strings on, maybe file out the nut a bit.
Otherwise this thing is a beast! I do love this bass, don't get it wrong, I've not had one in my possession for 18 years so regardless of the buzz, I am quite pleased.
I suppose I'm writing this review because the guitar came with a certified inspection checklist and I find it odd that it shouldn't have had any buzz issues when Sweetwater inspected it but by the time it traveled 5 states East... it buzzes.
