Best customer service for gear!!!
I have never experienced the high level of service that Sweetwater provides. My husband plays in a couple bands in addition to being classically trained so he knows what he wants. But he appreciates talking with his sales rep, discussing gear and his needs. He agrees, the BEST service. You would be nuts to buy elsewhere lol
Love Sweetwater for gear
Sennheiser IE 100 Pro - Clear
My 16 year old son is studying piano at the Baltimore School for the Arts, and already has gigs around town independent of his school's performance engagements. He is still getting used to the Sennheiser in-ears and really loves the versatility and quality of this gear. This is great intro to prepare him for the next level up in a few months. I'm gonna have to get a pair for myself for my gig life too. They are are definitely the right gear for the job.
Solid sound and quality at a great price
These are solid and better than all the competition at this price point. Sure you can spend 4-6 times as much and get multi-driver solutions but these are great isolators and frequency response for a very reasonable price.
simply perfect!
The Sennheiser 1E 100 Pro ear monitors were just what the doctor ordered! They fit perfectly, and the wire that goes over the ears can be molded to help hold them in place. They sound great, and have used them already at church with the praise team!I couldn't be happier!
not worth it
these were super crackly and staticy, unclear sound. pretty bummed out.
Senheiser Pro?
I expected much more from Senheiser. I used to have a pair of over the ear Senheiser headphones and was very pleased with them. The 100 IE Pro have virtually no bass response. As a drummer, I used them only to listen to the click when practicing out of books. Playing along with music is not possible because the fit is not good enough to attenuate the sound of the drums. I would not recommend these.
Great IEM!
Very clear and dynamic sounding. Comfortable to wear without worrying about them falling out of your ears.
100 "Pro"
Very disappointed with this purchase. Being new to IEM systems, I went with a name I trusted. Calling these "Pro" is more than a little generous. After 1 rehearsal, I wound up ordering a different brand that are amazing. So trusting "pro" in the name, I threw away a lot of money. Should be called "beginner plus".
Pro?
Don't be confused. These are not "Pro". These are a step above what they include in their systems, but still a step below many other brands I've tried. I bought assuming it was a great deal for their "pro" level. Fit is bad, included tips are junk/rubber, and over all feel cheap. I'll keep them as an emergency back up for the "other brand" I ended up buying.
Great Sound and Comfortable
The sound is amazingly good for a small in-ear headphone. Sound better than most over the ear headphones I've used. Brilliant high end and warm mid range with no muddy-ness, the bass is on the strong side but not too much so. Not quiet as accurate as my $ over the hear mixing headphones but they are perfect for practicing because they sound great and I can wear them all day long. The only downside is that you have to fiddle with the wires a bit to get it set right over your ear but once they are situated they are fine. Great price also. I would have paid easily double for these, due to how difficult it is to find in-ear monitors that are comfy and sound good.
Excellent
Again, and superior product!!! Will Traynor is the best engineer!!!
great for the price
overall great in ears, i use them probably every day. only took away a star because the cable can be fragile, mine broke but sweetwater replaced it for free :) i'd recommend!!
Great Earbuds
Lightweight, awesome sound, fit nicely in ear, and do not fall out with activity. They also have a 2 year warranty, which is basically unheard of. So far, so great!
ok for price perhaps
Kinda underwhelmed, was trying to find something new to match my new Sennheiser IEM system, and to be fair my sales engineer did say I'd still find my 10 year old Westone 3x's better. Oh, yeah, a whole lot. Odd thing is I dont find these IE 100s much better than the little IE4 buds that came free with the system... The latter have a broader response, might not be as crisp in mids and highs but honestly more pleasant to listen to. Only thing these IE 100s have going for them for me is the tougher cord and ear wraps, nice and sturdy.
Distractingly good at first, then just great
Keyboard player. Have been using Westone ambient 3-driver IEMs for years, but had a hankering for some affordable new equipment and thought, "Why not try some new IEMs?" Sennheiser's reputation and the price of these made it an easy decision, and I used them the other night for the first time and was blown away.
They sounded so good it was distracting at first, as sounds I could only hear faintly before were full and present. As the gig wore on, and the novelty wore off, they just sounded great. For this price, or more, they are really a cut above.
Clear & Full.
Tested through wired headphone amp out of mixer with phone (youtube) and my Fender Jazz Bass through active DI. No complaints!
Great value,
Started playing a gig that required IEMs, and I hated the ones that came with the pack. I've tried the Shures and didn't like them either. I've used an older model of Sennheiser IEMs in the past and loved them. These were just as great as I was hoping. Great for general use too. Highly recommend.
Comfortable and great sounding!
I purchased these in-ear monitors to use with the Xvive U4 wireless in-ear monitoring system. They honestly sound better than I expected, and are very comfortable to wear. I wear them 2-3 hours during rehearsal and performance in a church music group.
great iem
i use these to play at church and throughout my day, they have a crystal clear sound and they're super comfortable. there's not a better iem for this price.
A Good IEM
I really like these IEMs. They sound good for my experience level, and the price point is good as well. They fit comfortably just make sure to pick the correct tips to guarantee a good seal.
Solid and clean
I bought these to use as on the go reference and just to relax and listen and they deliver. Comfy design makes them very easy for me to use them for long periods at a time as I tend to be more sensitive to IEMs. The carry bag is a nice addition but I'll probably end up buying a case for them for added protection.
No question, this is the best IEM in this price range
The comparable Shure IEMs are worst in every way, particularly with fit. These sound great and they fit my average sized ears perfectly right out of the box.
If you're considering the comparable Shure, for SURE get these instead. Don't waste your time buying both and comparing. I did that for you. These were also developed/released just a few years ago, whereas the Shure design is over a decade old
The Sennheiser are the modern $ IEM to get.
Amazing sound and comfort
The packaging is nice, the included carrying pouch is good.
Very clear sound, a bit bright but not very annoying.
Love these second pair
This is my second pair... thought I had misplaced the others at a gig, found them right after these arrived.
I love the response of these in ears. They fit good enough, after all they aren't custom molds, and give a great broad range. I play bass, guitar, and keys, so I'm monitoring different instruments and kick, these do a great job. Good deal at the price.
a drummers pov
These work great! I've been using these for a year now and I like all the features it offers. They hold well in / on the ear even if using only one. I hear a full range of lows, mids & highs. I can hear all vocals & whatever mix I want clearly. I like the short cord better than others that have longer cords.
Great first pair of IEMs
These are my first IEMs. They're comfortable with a good flat response that allows the mix to come through clean and true.
The cable is a little short but this was easily remedied with and extension.
Amazing!
Three years ago when I started on Praise Team at my church, this was the first pair of buds I ever bought, and I absolutely adored them! Fast forward to 2021 and my buds disappear. I have been to many websites looking for the pair I originally bought and they were always sold out, but a couple of weeks ago they were finally in stock again, so I snatched them up really quick. The customer service was outstanding! So much so, that I received not only a phone call to thank me for my purchase, but a follow up email when I wasn't able to answer the phone. The buds themselves are just as great as I remember and I go them in clear instead of black this time! Thank you so much for being helpful!
Love 'em
Comfortable and great sound.
Sold On Sennheiser IE 100 Pro headphones
So far these rock!
Great, relatively comfortable (all earbuds strain my ears after a while) and inexpensive IEMs. The buds stay in place (unlike, say, airpods that pop out if you lean over). Unlike airpods these are not the wireless ones, but I don't deal with any latency either with these wired ones. For the price you really can't go wrong with these.
Love 'em!
I had previously bought AT in-ears and found them bulky and uncomfortable. These Sennheisers are extremely comfortable and they sound great. I have found them to have great frequency response from top to bottom. Clear, clean and punchy with great bass. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get into an in-ear monitor on a budget.
Good bang for the buck
You usually get what you pay for with Sennheiser - the sound is clear. While I'm guessing that there are better sounding units out there, these are fine.
Live and learn
Lesson learned…should have purchased these first. If you are looking for an earpiece that stays put with good sound, upgrade to these. The wraparound wires make a BIG difference. Easy to insert into the ear and solid sound producer. No more fumbling to keep my earbuds in place. All the Sennheiser audio equipment that I have purchased have served me well. Sticking with them going forward.
Great quality and price
I bought these In Ears for use in our church band. I play multiple instruments; electric guitar, acoustic guitar, drums, bass and keys. No matter what I play, the sound reproduction quality is pretty phenominal. Hard to believe they are single drivers! Bass sounds as good as the midrange and as well as the highs. I have a pair of quad-driver In Ears that don't sound as good as these. Very pleased with this purchase.
Midrangy low quality sound
I'm dissatisfied with this purchase…..not high fi….
No lows, no highs, ….midrangy and crappy…not what I expected from Sennheiser…..too bad im stuck with them….i guess u get what u pay for and that's the reason some in-ears sre priced at $ +
My goal was to try to get used to in ear live monitoring w live rock band …but ….maybe i just go back to regular monitor speakers
Wow!
There are way more expensive sets out there with multiple drivers, but I wonder how they could sound any better than these. I was blown away when i first heard music through these. They sound better than my beyerdynamic headphones. I am very pleased. Exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds.
