Put a Ssstop to Sssibilance!
Harrison Audio’s AVA De-Esser plug-in lets you easily remove sibilance from dialogue and vocals without introducing any audio artifacts or affecting intelligibility. Its interface is easy to use, and it’s capable of reducing sibilance up to a whopping -12dB. Six primary controls plus two handy Solo features make Harrison Audio’s AVA De-Esser one of the most comprehensive de-essers that Sweetwater studio engineers have encountered. They also love AVA De-Esser’s ultra-low latency, which makes it usable even for livestreaming or podcasting. Finally, AVA De-Esser’s adjustable Threshold and Depth allow you to precisely control the strength of the de-essing effect for your desired sound.

Six user-friendly controls
The AVA De-Esser interface's 6-pack of primary controls puts a stop to sibilance in no time. Just click and drag to adjust Threshold, Frequency, Bandwidth, Attack, Release, and Gain of each band, which you can then solo and mute each band to hear results. Plus, with the adjustable threshold and depth, you can precisely fine-tune the onset and strength of the de-esser effect.
Two smart solo modes
Harrison Audio’s AVA De-Esser lets you locate sibilance at lightning speed with its two smart solo modes. Auto-Solo lets you sweep the frequency knob until you hear the sibilance clearly. Meanwhile, Band-Solo isolates each frequency band separately, and then you can fine-tune de-essing settings for each individual band.
