I have bought a number of these cases…good bang for your buck

This is a great case. The fit is great and it is built well.

2nd try to find a case for my new Ibanez AAD51CD. First one didnt close even though manufactures websites dimensions. Spoke to my Sales Engineer Seth and he recommended this one. Perfect fit for a oversize dread. Awesome product. Perfectly built and well padded.

This case fits the Takamine GD93CE Acoustic-Electric dreadnought Guitar perfectly!

Body is sturdy and well made enough, no problems there. It fit my Martin D-10 nicely and does a good job of doing what a hard case should, but 3 of the 5 clips that hold it closed have fallen off from just general usage after about a year. Would expect a little more quality control. Probably fairly easy to fix on your own but still frustrating.

I can't imagine why you would buy a more expensive case. This one is very sturdy and durable and very inexpensive.

The size is perfect for this old knock off dreadnaught.

A beautiful, well constructed case. It fits the dreadnought perfectly and provides some serious protection. I haven't traveled with it, but I would definitely recommend this case.

Pretty good except for the lid/top of case strap being triisted one revolution. Never seen that before.

i bought this case for my epiphone pro1 acoustic because i didnt want to spend more for the case thaqn the guitar. man was i surprised to how sweet this case is, the fit and quality are outstanding. enough for me to buy another for my ltd ec256. Not sure this case would be road worthy for touring but as a home case and gigging case this one is great. Fit my Takamine 12 string as promised (Sweetwater's case matching system does work).
It looks good, is plush inside, and no funky smell like some other cases I've bought from other makers(one case smells like playdough. What's with that??)

This is a well padded case, four latches. I had received it for a Martin gpc 16 which only came with a soft case, better than a gig bag but too floppy. It is actually padded better than the Martin gpc, that I exchanged for. The gator case is too large for that guitar. I thought about wrapping a strap in a towel to push the guitar body towards the storage box. No problem with Mason Bouvier and Sweetwater to exchange! Great case if it fits your guitar! I would recommend the epiphone case though for dreadnought sized guitars.

The case was a gift for my grandson who has a new Martin but no case. He was thrilled as he looked at each and every feature of the Gator which will protect his dreadnaught as he travels. Great product, great price, and great customer support. I'll be back, Cassie!

Excellent fit for my Epiphone DR500 MCE acoustic guitar. I would have liked to have had a little more padding but it is sufficient to protect the guitar. I would definitely recommend this case.

I've needed a new hard guitar case for quite some time for my favorite guitar I have owned for 35 years.
It's a nonstandard size (large) and by a small company, Dean of Canada. I had serious difficulty finding a hard case that fits this guitar. The online dimensions appeared to be a close fit and I was very pleased how well the guitar actually did fit. The quality of the case is excellent, of course. What I was most happy with was that Sweetwater, with their enormous selection of guitar cases to choose from, was able to provide me one that actually fits my guitar.

This is a very sturdy case. Well made with four latches, plush padded interior lined, solid handle. It is well worth $ to protect your investment in your guitar.

Found this case while purchasing my 2nd Epi Masterbilt guitar. In my opinion, much better quality case than what Epi provides. Lighter in weight, cheaper price, more secure latches. Would definitely purchase again if needed. Yay for Gator!

I gave it a 5 as it is a great case, but it is too large for my Seagull Maritime dreadnaught cutaway. Fantastic value if your guitar is more of a standard shape.

I like the case alot because my grand auditorium guitar fits in it perfectly. So does my full size Takamine dreadnought. I like the contrasting white stitching and 4 latches.It is a very good guitar case.

The manufacturer's case was out of stock when I ordered a guitar recently, so I asked for a recommendation for a third-party alternative. Ben, my Sweetwater sales engineer recommended the Gator case without hesitation. It's easy to see why. This is a premium hardshell case that's well-constructed and well-padded. The handle gives a little too, key for comfort when you're overloading yourself to get in or out of a gig in a hurry. Extra Bonus: The Gator saved me money off the manufacturer's out-of-stock case.

I have recently had a difficult time in finding a case for my Takamine GD-20 (see review elsewhere on this website). I read some unfavorable reviews of the Takamine branded cases designed for it. So I nixed getting one of those. After some detailed research I came upon this Gator case. I already had an acceptable hard shell Gator case for my Gibson SG. So I went with this model. I have to say it fits the GD-20 Ideally....not too cramped and not loose at all. The lid closes smoothly and is not pressing on the guitar's top as a few other models did. Add to that the fact that it is good protection for the guitar AND THAT IS DOES NOT WEIGH A TON. The detailing is nicely done and I love the arched top. Kudos to Gator.

I've been using mine for ocer a few months now. I was AMAZED at the quality of the case and durability. It has a LOT of protection on your guitar yet still light weight. We all wish we could get cases with all our guitars we buy, especially acoustics. If you buy an acoustic guitar and it doesn't come with a case, especially an expensive guitar, Gator is the way to go. The Deluxe Model wins 'Em all.

Yes the Taylor case is nice and designed specifically for my Taylor, but it is more than double the cost of this case. This case is well made and protects the Taylor 114e very well. Has great padding all around including the bottom. I was concerned that my Taylor being an "auditorium" size guitar vs a dreadnought that the case would not be "tight" enough. The fit is fine and leaves enough room on the shoulders that you don't have to worry about the electronic control knobs being an issue. It also has a nice deep storage compartment for all your extra do dads. I recommend this case for anyone who want's a quality case without breaking the bank. Only reason I did not give this 5 stars is they did not have a "Brown" option, only black.

Splitting my living between two locations means that I wanted a case I could fly with. Unfortunately, all the cases, including all manufacturers, with TSA locks are 1/2" - 1" too short for my Guild Guitar. With the help of both Gator and Sweetwater, the solution narrowed down to just a few cases. The GW-DREAD was one of them. While it lacks the TSA locks (the reason for 4.5 rather than 5 stars), it is a fantastic fit for my instrument. It has a locking latch, which I won't use because TSA would destroy it the first time they tried to open the case. A velcro type band around the case will work. It has extra padding under the body of the guitar and looks like it will provide great protection for my prized instrument. It may not even require any towels for extra padding.

I chose the black case rather than the off-white burlap case because the airlines would scuff, bang, and mark the white case in one trip. Also, the Tolex will allow stickers, for identification, to adhere.

Everything about the case: the materials, hardware, handle appear to be strong enough for the use I have in mind. The case is fairly heavy, at 12-13 pounds, so for day-to-day use, I will be using a gig bag at about 1/4th the weight.

This is a great case and I'm glad I bought it.

This case is well built and with the handle position, is extremely easy to carry. The one thing that you notice immediately is the quality of the materials used in its construction. The interior is well padded for keeping your baby safe. Excellent value at this price!.

When I purchased my Epiphone EL-00 Pro there wasn't a case available. My rep (Jesse) at Sweetwater assured me that this would fit the bill and provide great protection. He didn't steer me wrong.

Nice job. Closure almost open at a touch, but remain secure until touched. Detail is, well, detailed. Balance is perfect.

nice case. well made. Should have put metal bracket on lid when standing case up to protect lid from getting worn. if your not critical, it's great.

Ordered this for my Fender T Bucket acoustic, great fit! Very nice quality hard case with soft interior and nice compartment for storage inside. Hard to go wrong with a Gator case.

This is a great case for the money. I appreciate that it has metal "feet" on the bottom and the side you would lay the case down on. Very nice inside and out!
