I ordered this case for my Yamaha FG830. It fits like a glove and holds the guitar securely. The case seems well built with study hardware and nice padding inside. Time will tell how it holds up but so far I'm very pleased with it. I also appreciate all the dimensions shown in the picture on this page for the case. It makes it easy to assure the guitar would fit.

Great hardshell case. Fits my Epiphone Hummingbird Inspired by Gibson perfectly. I get a lot of comments on how beautiful my case is. Highly recommend.

This case is well padded all over. Because of the padding in the bottom part of the cover, the Epiphone DR-100 won't quite fit in it. One can't close and latch all of the clasps without pressing down on the cover. Even then, the bulging lid is quite evident. Other than this, it's a great case. Gibson/Epiphone should either redesign it or make a case specifically for the DR-100.

This is an excellent case built by Epiphone I purchased one for my Epiphone Humingbird wow had no idea what a great purchase I had just made. Upon arrival which was fast I opened package read all my paperwork then opened up the case yo inspect the inside for fit and finnish. When i opened up this guitar case I couldn't believe my eyes. Fantastic interior nice felt lined case looked like a million bucks then the biggest surprise I put my guitar in it wow what a fit it was like it was a custom measured vase built exactly for my specific guitar when I set my guitar down inside the case it took my humingbird about 5 seconds to reach the bottom it was liked a sealed vault absolute ferfect fit not to tight more was it yo loose. It just kinda slowly sunk into it's new bed and went to sleep.I would recommend this case to anyone who owns a guitar on Sweetwater list if they tell you your guitar fits this case it does and you can take that to the bank.Im one super satisfied customer. I had a difficult time finding a case to fit my Epiphone PR150 because of the elongated headstock. I finally wrote Epiphone and they recommended this case. Its a perfect fit and a high quality case. It is also quite attractive. I highly recommend this case.

This is a very nice looking case and the trim makes it "pop" and looks even nicer in person. My Epiphone Frontier fits perfects just as my Sweetwater rep, Ben indicated. Very plush inside the case with a quality handle and I have no doubt this will protect my guitar for years to come. Ben, was fantastic in dealing with a shipping issue but came up with a solution and I was able to pick up my case with no issues. As always Sweetwater delivers in their fantastic customer service!

Years ago my youngest son "inherited" a classic Epiphone acoustic guitar from a neighbor who knew he played. It came with a vintage case. Fast forward 10 years and we have it in storage at our new house. We had a slight flood in the basement that turned the old case into mush. It was already well worn. The guitar survived fine and spent some time on a stand with no case. When I found Sweetwater for a new turntable I discovered that the his guitar was of some vintage itself and the case specific to it was still being made. Viola! A new case was purchased and it's exactly like the original one. Awesome!

Epiphone case for acoustic - case is better than expected- well done

I bought this for my Epi Hummingbird. It's a very nice case, sturdy and plush. I've gotten several compliments on the style of this case. It isn't all black. It has the tan trim that gives it a sort of sophisticated look.

I recently purchased a used Epiphone DR500MCE Acoustic-Electric Dreadnaught guitar which I dearly love, but it came without a case. So I bought this case from Sweetwater, and I'm quite pleased. My guitar is a snug fit, and that's good because know it won't be rattling around loose inside the case. This is an attractive, traditionally styled case made with top-grade materials. It's a bit heavy to lift with the guitar inside, but that's a small quibble. This is an excellent guitar case!

This case is nice and fits my Epiphone J45 perfectly. Appears to be well made and theres no doubt it will protect my guitar.

This is a perfect fit for an Epiphone Hummingbird (dreadnought). The brown trim and handle are nice looking and set it apart from all the other black cases. Received new case with broken rear latch "U" blade. See photo. Sweetwater made replacement quick and easy. New case was shipped and arrived a day later. I used box and packing from that to return defective case with prepaid shipping label emailed from Sweetwater. Many cases do not have a rear latch. This one does. Rest of case seems quite solid. Outer covering is smooth, not bumpy like "tolex" on other cases. Gray fuzzy lining inside is a nice touch as many cases in this price range only have black. Fit for my new Epiphone inspired by Gibson Hummingbird is perfect.

For me, these cases are top of the line. I wouldn't have another.A decent Epiphone acoustic shouldn't ever be carried by anything else!p

I needed a specific case because I had purchased an Epiphone Masterbilt Excellente from Sweetwater, and although I thought I might have a case to fit it, the body depth of the Excellente was deeper than most cases could accommodate. I went back to the Sweetwater site to get the specs of the guitar and while I was there I saw that Sweetwater recommended the Epiphone EDREAD as a certified fit for the Excellente. I admit that it had a nice look to it, with the leather trimmed top, the leather wrapped handle, and the gold hardware, but I bought it for the "certified fit."

Well, Sweetwater didn't steer wrong, because it fit my Exccellente like a glove. The interior is very plush, the neck is cradled very nicely with room underneath for a strap to be stowed there, and the storage compartment is large enough for any essentials that would be needed. This case is not air travel worthy, but would work well to protect your guitar for more local gigs, and certainly for keeping the guitar safely protected at home (I always use a case to protect my solid wood acoustic guitars specifically so that I can control the humidity - I use the D-Addario Humidification system).

It is a little on the heavier side of dreadnaught cases, and it is a bit bulkier to accommodate a deeper body, but still, I would recommend this dreadnaught case to anyone.

I purchased a hard side case for my new Epiphone Hummingbird guitar and could not be more pleased. The guitar fits like a hand in a glove accuracy for fit quality.

Got mine today and it has a ding on the bottom of the case that has torn through the vinyl. Not a huge hole but disappointing to see that it will likely not handle dings well. One of the brackets that holds the handle on is also loose. The base is attached OK but the metal arms that the handle attaches to are wiggling around. The other end of the handle is solid.

Looks nice inside and would probably work fine but I do not want to start with a damaged product. Can only assume it will not wear well if it is starting this way. Will be exchanging for the plastic case.

I bought this case for an Epiphone J-45. It fits very well. However, after 2.5months, the outer vinyl covering is starting to separate at the waist and the lid never closed perfectly without some pushing and jiggling. Maybe, in my case (no pun intended), it is an isolated one-off that slipped the Epiphone QC line.

Ordered this beautiful case on a Friday afternoon and received notice it shipped that night-received that following Tuesday! Was nervous my grandfather's guitar wouldn't fit after ordering and received the BEST customer service and reassurance. Customer service, shipping, and quality is unmatched!

I bought this case for an Epiphone IBG J-45. I like sticking with the same brand of a case than the guitar. With the J-45, there is extra room at the top of the case, I'm assuming so that the case can also accommodate the larger headstock of an Epiphone 12-string? The padding is lush and gives confidence that it would protect the guitar well. The hinges seem to be of as good quality as on my Taylor and Martin cases. I dinged it one-star because when closing the case top, it does not perfectly line up with the bottom of the case without a little push to fully close it, as the lid part is slightly misaligned. All in all, I do like the case and would buy it again if I had to.

It stinks, literally. I mean I've tried baking soda, charcoal and febreeze to name a few. Nothing has eliminated the stench of that dam cheap chinese glue they use to produce the case.

Sturdy case for Epiphone 12-string. Well-mde, and not as heavy as older cases, which is a bonus. Nice two-tone design, with nice, plush padding that cradles and really protects the finish on the guitar. Plenty of storage for all your accessories.

I bought this per the recommendation of the sweetwater guys and it fits my 1995 Guild acoustic well. Overall this is a decent case for $. However, I must state that this case is a bit heavier, much thicker than the old ABS molded SK case it replaced. The vinyl covering is ok but will get beat up. One other minor complaint is that the position of the handle is not well balanced which is noticeable when carrying.

I do not own this case, but was interested in ordering for my Epiphone PR-150. Looking at the listed models in the description that fit I. The case, it skipped from the PR-100 to the PR-200. After measuring my 150, I can confirm this case will in fact fit the 150 very nice! Will be ordering down the road once I get some money saved up.

The Epiphone guitar case I received from Sweetwater is fantastic, but what was even more fantastic was the service. I ordered the case on a Sunday. They said it would arrive the next day at no extra cost. Early that next day I received a voicemail and text from Matthew, one of Sweetwater's sound engineers. He said they were a little backed up, and I would get the case the following day, which I did. That was still incredibly quick, and getting a personal contact from Sweetwater was great and an indication a very high level of customer service.

Purchased for an AJ size body. The fit is perfect and the overall quality of the case is quite good for it's price.

They work great for my two epiphone acoustics, flawless fit. One of the cases is perfect (I bought two), one is a tiny bit misaligned so I have to pull it tight but it's not an issue, just the differences between the two. They both fit perfectly. If you need a case that can take a banging though and not show marks these aren't the cases for that, you'd need a hard plastic or something else, but they look fantastic with the multi colored black and brown. Plus the price is hard to beat for this level of protection. I've got an Epi Humbingbird and DR-500 living in my cases.

Got this for an older guitar I inherited from my father (1974 FT-150). I made my selection by dimensions listed in the description, perfect fit. Very well built case. This case also seals well and I had no issues with creating and maintaining the proper humidity level for the guitar.

I needed a case for my Epiphone PR-350 that I bought new back in 1990. The guitar looks and most importantly sounds great for being 30 year old Epiphone. I am amazed at the quality of the Epiphone guitar case. I was first surprised at the weight of it. It provides a snug and secure environment for my new D212.

I will make this short and sweet. I have a Taylor, a Martin, an Epiphone DR-500MCE and now the Epiphone AJ-45 w/Case. All of my guitars are nice, but this AJ-45 Guitar and case are my new favorite. The AJ-45 has excellent tone and a real low end that is about the best I have personally played. The guitar is well made, perfect in its construction visually and easy on the eyes too. I did not think I would like the matte finish on the guitar, but ends up that I "really do" like it. These Masterbuilt Guitars from Epiphone are really an unbelievable value. While I am aware that there are differences between the Gibson J-45 and Epiphone's AJ-45, I can't imagine that the Gibson would justify the extreme difference in pricing. For $... the AJ-45 is the "Treasure Chest" in excellent guitar value. Unparalleled.

Is a perfect fit for my Washburn Comfort G70SCE. My awesome Sales Engineer, Drake Sobehrad, made sure with the people in the shop that this was compatible with my guitar, since the Washburn case was on back order.

Made with very high quality materials. The outside is soft and very good looking, while the inside is just as fancy. The handle is very comfortable. Gold hardware has me feeling like a million bucks.

A luxurious, high end feeling case that is not too expensive and will definitely have you enjoying the finer details. It does say Epiphone on the side even though it houses a Washburn, but there is nothing a couple of stickers cant fix.

The Epiphone case is as good....or better than my Gibson cases. I purchased this case for my grand daughter's Epiphone Dove, and the fit is spot on. The padding on the inside is plush, and will protect the guitar for many years.The outside looks very sharp, and the brown edging makes it look great. Sweetwater should list the Epiphone Masterbilt DR series among the guitars that work with this case. I had to comb through the user reviews to find out. That said, I couldn't be happier with the case! My guitar came originally in a hard-sided gig bag with zippers. It was lightweight and utilitarian, but I found out the hard way why one shouldn't use zippered cases! I got to a gig with five minutes to spare, and found that I'd apparently managed to jam the zipper before leaving home. I was forced to literally tear the case apart with my bare hands to play the show! The Epi DR is a slope-shoulder 14-fret dreadnaught, which is a tricky fit for 'generic' cases. Thank heaven this case came along!

I've since purged the zippered cases from my collection! Once bitten, etc.

This case is well built for the price. The fit, the padding, the clasps, and even the looks have exceeded my expectations. My epi aj15 has a new happy home that it should've had a decade earlier (and two headstock breaks & repairs earlier!!) Do yourself a favor and buy this instead of just using a gig bag. It's a lot heavier, but that gig bag will not stop your headstock from breaking when someone bumps your guitar while it's leaning on a wall/amp/etc.

Case looks nice and interior is very plush. Only concerns are the latch with the lock in it doesnt line up correctly with the lid and the handle wrap feels a little loose which may get worse after carrying it around a while. The storage compartment is large enough to hold a decent strap and a tonewood amp in it. Overall a nice case for the price.

I ordered the Gator dread case at first but found it was a tight squeeze at the headstock. This case fits perfect. The construction of the Gator case was molded plastic while the Epi is more old school design with nice detail work but probably not quite as durable as the Gator. Riley helped me with the exchange and kept me posted on the shipment. Thanks Sweetwater team for a great experience.

Got it two days later than my guitar even though it was on the same order, don"t know why that happened, but besides the shipping delay the case was just great looking, just like I was hoping it would be. Constructed real well my guitar fits perfect all you could ask for when it comes to guitar cases. The only thing I noticed looks wise was a couple of light scratches but they can be buffed out. I ordered this case when I ordered my Epiphone Masterbilt DR-500 MCE. I had considered an aftermarket case for it but upon arrival, I'm glad I got the Epiphone case. Jared helped me pick the Epiphone EDREAD Dreadnought Guitar Case for my new Epiphone guitar. He assured me that this was the case and the best buy for my guitar. I knew to expect excellence based on past experience with him and Sweetwater and my expectations were met! The case arrived in a couple of days, along with my guitar. I unboxed the case first and was amazed! It's beautiful and very well made. I love the leather accent that goes around the case. Classy! And plush! If I was smaller I swear I could sleep in this thing! My guitar body fits in it like a glove except for some space from the headstock to the end but that's apparently to accommodate longer guitars. The case will NOT let the instrument move around inside. I have complete confidence that it will protect my investment for many years!

Great looking case with 4 latches, Epiphone logo and trim around the edges. The Hummingbird I bought also from Sweetwater fits perfectly and the case closes and latches without any fitting problems like you find in cheap cases from big box #1.

I received the case on 31 Dec 2016 but I did not open till 1 Jan 2017.

The Case looked great. But after and inspection, not so much. First it is made in CHINA.

The covering material had wrinkles.
The material was torn near the head stock.
The lining had wrinkles was not fitted well....

It should not have passed inspection at the factory.

I bought this case for my Epiphone dove. It doesn't just fit snugly - it fits perfectly. The interior is well padded and the material is very soft. Initially I wasn't a fan of the brown trim and thought it was kind of ugly, but in person it's not that bad and it grows on you over time. Overall this is a nice case and a very worthwhile purchase.

Needed a case for my Epiphone Masterbuilt dread. Very happy with this purchase. The guitar fits perfectly, nice and snug to prevent in case movement when carrying. Nice plush interior and seems sturdy and well built. Great customer service from Sweetwater. This is my first Sweetwater purchase....great buying experience.

Generally well made case but attention to detail falls a little short there are specks of "dust?" under the Tolex causing some bumps and bubbles...not a deal breaker but it could be better. Also the pictures seem to indicate 5 latches (with two on the lower bout) mine has only 4 (3 on the handle side and one on the upper bout hinge side)...also not a deal breaker but a little disappointing. Since it is a Dreadnought style case my slope shouldered AJ-220 has a small amount of play but otherwise fits quite securely and seems very secure when it's all latched up. Very nice plush padding inside, plenty of room in the accessory compartment for strings, tuner, strap, etc. if you need something more solid or plan to do some serious travel which would require checking your instrument there are more sturdy (and much more expensive) cases out there but this one should protect your investment just fine for everything else you might encounter in everyday use.

Lid needs to be jiggled to get it to close. The epiphone that it was supposed to fit is loose in the case.
The vinal is loose in at least one place, apparently not glued.
Some of my cheaper cases seam to be much better quality.

Sturdy exterior and soft fitted interior. Was perfect pertection for 68 Epiphone 12 string. The 'Epiphone' signature on top side an aesthetic plus. Well made and good bargain. Very pleased with the service at Sweetwater, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Would recommend this case to anybody who has guitar that needs protection.

I have the DR-500MCE and the EDREAD Epiphone hardshell case fits my guitar like a glove. It is perfectly, snugly and safely nestled inside the Epiphone EDREAD hardshell case. The case used to be for my Epiphone AJ-220S which has a little wiggle when inside. But the DR-500MCE Masterbilt is perfect. Mine came with a reddish brown accent and gold-plated latches.

It is a great looking case, and a wonderful home to keep my Epiphone Masterbilt guitar safe from the dry winter air here in the Midwest. Sweetwater's customer service is great! Oh and my sales engineer Aaron rocks!

Good case good protection for your Epiphone acoustic

This case is extremely sturdy. Although the guitar rarely leaves the house, I'd have no qualms transporting it anywhere in this. My son toured for a while with a guitar and if he were still doing that, I would recommend this case.

I Bought this for my son's Ephiphone DR-100 as a birthday gift. I never opened the box prior to giving it to him so I anxiously awaited as he opened his present. I was quite impressed with the case just on the outside appearance of it. Looks classy with the Ephiphone logo on the exterior. The interior was equally impressive and most important of all was how nice the guitar fit inside. You will never worry about your instrument getting bumped or bruised while inside this baby! I travel with my Epiphone guitar quite frequently, my friend highly reccomende buying this specific guitar from Sweetwater due to what is and the prices savings over any retail outlet.

My son has the Epiphone AJ-200S so many vendors recommended the Epiphone Jumbo case. Funny that Epiphone website recommended Epiphone Dreadnought case. So got the Dreadnought case and the AJ-220S fits perfectly all around but for an extra 4 inches of room beyond the neck (Jumbo case would have had too much wiggle room around the body). Case seems of good quality and a little heavy but for $89, it is worth it. Sweetwater service is superb: phone voice mail confirming internet purchase, order arrived in two days (free shipping), and my kids loved the sweet treats in the shipping carton.

This case fits my Epiphone Hummingbird Pro perfectly. Nice fur lining inside with extra large storage compartment for your guitar extras. Well built hard shell case construction with sturdy handle. The brown trim and brown handle adds to the case's appeal and looks great!

I own a 1979 Epi D-14 and it fits like a glove. This model # needs to be added to the list that fits this case. Have been soft bagging it for a few years and always find my guitar out of tune when I arrive. This case is well made, positive latches soft plush interior. Had a few marks on the exterior of case, most of them were of glue and came off. Added my own whacks to it last weekend on a trip to Alabama. Case is heavy, heck yea. Had my fill of cheap paper cases and zipper bags

Does what it's supposed to do. Fits my Texan real nice! I give it a 4.5 just because I have to move the case top into the back latch sometimes. But it's a very good case. I recommend it.

I purchased this case for my Epiphone AJ-220S and it fits very nicely. As others have pointed out, the case pictured may not be the exact case that you will receive. The one I received actually looks to be of higher quality. Mine is black and brown and has the full "Epiphone" name printed on it. Well worth the money! Seems very durable and has a large storage compartment for your tuner, strings, picks, etc.

I just recently purchased an Epi DR212 and, this is the perfect case for this instrument. Well made,Perfect fit, nice attention to detail with the brown tirm around the top and body of the case. Very satisfied and, Ryan Sloan was very helpful in all aspects of my purchases. Sweetwater adds that little extra customer service that makes them a leader in musical gear retailers.

For the price it was more than I expected. I've seen more expensive cases not made as well, especially the 5 latch system, nice touch and the latches really aren't that bad. Not top of the line, but for $89.00 it's a steal! Using it for my Epi Hummingbird and it's a really nice fit, couldn't be more pleased. Cool gray lining and two tone finish. Gave it four stars because of the price and quality. Totally worth it!

Its a little on the heavy side and a little on the large side, but I know the guitar is well protected in this case. The covering seems to be a good material and they put a brown trim all around to dress it up a little. The gold clasps are not the best, but not the cheapest either, they do the job just fine. The inside is plush gray and fits my PR-100 perfect. I ordered the cheaper one, but it didn't fit the Epiphone, and had to send it back.

Bought this case for an Epi Hummingbird. It fits perfect and is a good quality case for the price. I shopped around and Sweetwater has the best price on this case. The latches do not feel quite as substantial as they do on the more expensive cases but they work fine. The brown trim against the black gives the case a little richer appearance, Overall an excellent case for a moderately priced guitar and a huge step up from a gig bag.

There are 5 latches to keep it secure but only the latch closest to the
handle has a lock on it. (the key will be in the accessories hole inside the case, you cant miss it ! eness your blind and dumb haha.
the lock can be broken though with a good hard pull, or your handy dandy crow bar. but it will keep the kids out of it..thats about it.
I got the case for my epiphone dove, its good fit keeps it in place securely, and gently :) So you wont have to worry about it guitar getting knocked out of tune in the case whever you take it. When I first got it I looked it over carfully to make sure nothing was missing or broken off, I was worried because of a previous review saying tey had a latch broken off..which for me was not the case. Everything works the way it was designed to do..which is hold your guitar safely.. Its a great case for the price free shipment plan took only took 3days. awsome case :D thanks sweet water ! *high five*

I bought this for my Epiphone AJ 500m, in part to have a matching case for the instrument (dumb reason) and to replace my durafoam for a hardshell. Big mistake! Sweetwater's service was fine, but the case is very poor quality. As mentioned, it does not look like the picture, which I anticipated and doesn't bother me. But the quality is very poor. One of the latches was sitting in the bottom of the box, as it had fallen off. After some work, I was sort of able to get it back on so that it is serviceable to store my guitar in my study. I would not trust it for travel, either in an airplane or to throw it into a vehicle for a gig, but it is too much trouble to send back. I have two other Takamine's that came with cases, which are actually TKL's, and these are much better quality. I wish I would have gone with the Gator GC jumbo (more money), TKL, or even the Musicians Gear dreadnought case (much cheaper). I would not recommend this case.

The case is heavy which i suppose is good and bad. This isn't the right picture though. On the front instead of the E symbol it actually says 'epiphone' and the trim around the edges of the case are brown, so this case isn't solid black. However, i was concerned about finding a case to fit my AJ 500M which is a slope shoulder guitar, and this thing fits like a glove. No movement whatsoever. As far as durability, I don't know how to rate this. Just got it and its my 1st hard shell case ever so, no frame of reference. I can say that sweetwater was great and shipped very quickly. Recieved the item after about 3-4 days from placing the order.
