EBS premium gold patch cables have the smallest profile plug that I have found, and the cable is very flexible. Their high performance series are heavier duty but not as flexible. The premium gold is plenty tough enough for pedal boards, and their flexibility makes them my go-to choice. Also check out the EBS 9V cables. They have the smallest profile barrel plugs that I have seen, and they are also plenty sturdy.

I have been using EBS cables for nearly a decade and I have yet to see one go bad. Best of all, the thin end takes up less room, which gives me some flexibility on my pedalboard. If you have a loaded pedalboard like I do, then I highly recommend these.

I have owned 12 of these in all the different sizes for about 2 years now on my pedalboard. I can say I've had almost no issues, if any at all in that time. They sound good. No noise issues. Cleaned up noise in my pedalboard from my solderless kit and saved a lot of space. Not the toughest of cables, but definitely the most flexible, smallest, and easiest to fit in tight spaces. they're pretty close to perfect and they work great for stereo pedals too! They fit in both plugs on all the pedals I've tried.

Pro Tip: Definitely plan and layout your pedalboard in the order you want the pedals to be and measure the distances between your pedals before buying a bunch, so you know which sizes to get. If not sure, its better to get a little longer of a size.

If you have two rows of pedals like me, you will need a few of these and maybe one or two of the longer sizes. This 4" size is meant for pedals that are side by side. If you want to connect one pedal above and one below on your board, you'll likely need the 7 " or 11" size. If you are connecting pedals from one end of a pedalboard to the other then 22". For the money, they're hard to beat. I replaced my solderless kit patch cables with all of these and they have been a noticeable improvement. These are more reliable, sound better, and reduced noise. So far no issues gigging, jamming, in the home studio, or swapping pedals in out of the pedalboard. Something my solderless kit had a hard time doing. Excellent cables. Would (and likely will) 100% buy again. Only wish I bought them sooner, and maybe an extra one as a backup. Hope this review helps you in your search. Thanks for reading it!

So low profile. You can get pedals very close together if needed. Sound awesome. I have several, just bought more. Replacing other brand cables as I go. Haven't had a single issue with these.

I just bought one with my last pedal (Strymon BigSky btw:)) to try it out. These are so well made and the biggest advantage is that they are designed to take up the least amount of space on your pedalboard which is fantastic. A small item but very important in it's flawless design and construction. Will buy more of these as I purchase more and more pedals!!

I have these in various lengths and I will say they are exactly what I was looking for. Good quality, small footprint. Will be replacing all my patch cables with these eventually.

I've always used the George L patch cables prior to these. I would always have trouble with some of the wire not working with the George L's, could be due to the way I was cutting it, but none the less I have never had a problem with these. Plus these give you extra room to place more pedals :p

The slim plugs and unobtrusive cables make them the best patches I've ever used.

Pedalboard real-estste is a valuable thing. I have a pedal train nano plus and these cables saved me enough space to fit a fifth pedal on the board. They literally take up no room at all. As long as these are being made I don't think I'll ever buy another patch cable for my pedalboards.

My sales engineer Bart Good told me about these cables and I am so glad he did! They are just what I needed. I decided to downsize to a smaller pedalboard so I bought a Pedaltrain Classic from Bart and he suggested I try the EBS Cables. To be honest, I had never even heard of them before. What a difference they have made. They take up such little space and you have to look twice to even see them between the pedals. Besides taking up less space, they sound awesome! One reviewer said they sound as good as Mogami's and I agree completely. I still use the longer Mogami's but everything on my board is now EBS. Give them a try and I think you'll agree. I just rewired my pedal board with these cables, and I now can't imagine why anyone would ever use anything else. I had previously been using Mogami Gold patch cables, and they were fantastic (still are), but they drove me crazy because the plugs are so big - it made re-wiring a nightmare and limited my options on where I could put my pedals. These saved me 75% of the time, and 100% of the aggravation of re-configuring my board. Sound? Can't tell a difference between these and the Mogami. (Note: I have a Voodoo Lab Dingbat pedal board - might not have had the same problems with the Mogami cables on a Pedaltrain or other similar straight rail board - BUT these cost considerably less, perform just as well to my ears, and are still way simpler to use). I'll continue to use the Mogami instrument cables, but for patch cables.... EBS PG Flat. No brainer.

These cables are a must have for anyone who uses a lot of pedals. I love the fact that they come in different sizes so I can lay out my pedal board exactly the way I want without being limited to size constraints. I use boss, electro-harmonix, Morley, wampler and they work perfectly with all my pedals. It"s great being able to save space with these little guys. I only wish I knew about this product years ago. I have room for a couple more pedals now, not that I need more, or do I?.... as usual sweetwaters service is top notch and I received the package on time and they took great care in how they ship things.

WITH REGULAR CABLES I COULD ONLY FIT FOUR PEDALS ON MY BOARD. WITH THESE, I COULD FIT ALL FIVE PEDALS. ALSO, WITH THESE, THERE IS NO NOISE AT ALL. GREAT BUY AND AS ALWAYS, SWEETWATER GOT THEM OUT TO ME RIGHT AWAY....

I recently put a mini pedalboard together for small gigs when the full monster-sized pedalboard is not needed. But I had a hard time fitting the number of pedals I wanted onto it with the usual Monster bass patch cables that I use because they are so thick and not very flexible. I decided to give these a shot. When I first got them, I thought maybe I didn't get all of the cables that I ordered because the package was so small. But these EBS cables are so freakin' tiny! Like, teenie-weenie. They just about disappear on the pedalboard. Definitely helps me fit more on the board, and more comfortably. They're very flexible too. I am very pleasantly surprised. And my bass sounds great. I wouldn't say it sounds any better or worse than when I was using the mish-mosh combination of other small Monster and Mogami patch cables I had. But they work great.

Excellent cables. Replaced all my patch cables with these on two boards. I was a bit worried about the flat wire, but there the audio quality is fantastic. Primary advantage is size - you will be shocked how tight you can fit pedals together. There's probably better than 20% space saved from conventional cables. There is almost no advantage to be gained from using top-jack pedals. These cable connectors fit side-jack pedals very close (about 3/8") to one another...unreal.

Incredibly small and don"t affect my tone at all! Pedals can be placed so close to each other you can"t believe it. Hugely recommended!

I bought a bunch of these of various sizes as I started getting unhappy with my solderless cables. Probably because I had reused them several times and they perhaps were not made to really do that. Mine were the push the pin into the core type and I feel like that maybe does not always make really good contact especially if you reuse them like I have had to do. I build my own boards and these worked great going under the rails totally hidden, very cool indeed. Most pro looking wiring job I have had.

Anyway, had a noise problem I could not solve other than selling off some noisy pedals and getting a full set of these to take off the solderless. Did the trick, these worked great. They are smaller than you might realize from the pictures, but flexible, and small plugs which have no problems being side by side in close jacks like on tc pedals. Anyway gold plugs are outstanding and while I am used to more stout larger cables, apart from the solderless I also tried. I realized that these are great, fully shielded no noise and when you consider how small the wires are inside a pedal, give me a break, probably far less cap load as well. Yes, some jacks you have push them a little to connect in but that is rare and poses no real issue. You are not going to be plugging them in and out all the time on a board anyway. So bottom line, some really great quality, no noise, gold patch cables for a pretty ridiculous low price, I would grab some before they jack the price.

I just bought several of these to rewire my pedalboard. The cables are well made, quiet, tiny, and sound great. However, in my case I discovered they don"t work well with all pedals. The plugs are slightly longer than what"s on my other brands (Mogami, Planet Waves, Fulltone) and they don"t engage all the way in some of my pedals. They work well with my Fulltone, Boss, and Ibanez Mini pedals. They do NOT work well with my JHS and Korg Pitchblack pedals. I tested them, and sure they pass sound just fine - but with the jacks not engaging or clicking in all the way I worry they will work themselves loose over time. Just keep this in mind before buying a bunch of them. You may want to purchase one and test it with your pedals before going all-out like I did.

I have 8 of these and soon will get a few more. I like the gold, it adds a nice touch to the appearance. Most importantly these cables are great. I use a, PRS cable, that is silent until it is plugged into my guitar. I have a few other cables ,all are top of the line,(different sizes and brands) but EBS Premium cables, are as good or better. I ordered a half-dozen of these to replace my bulky Monster 600 patch cables. They opened up a bunch of space on my pedalboard and sound just as good. I would highly recommend.

I run 20 pedals with 2 marshall 1/2 stacks in stereo ( most of my effects are stereo too) and one Fender twin dry. I've struggled for space and organization on the board. More important, I've just learned to live with the noise and compensate for volume drops when the stereo effects loop is on. Today, I received my EBS cables, took off all my EXPENSIVE cables and replaced them. I always purchased good cables but this is the first time I got an audible difference.This may have something to do with me simply rewiring but I've done that many times and always have to fiddle with it for an hour after. Still, I was left with noise, buffering issues and connection issues. Here's the result after installing EBS patch cables.:

1.) all my pedals fit with extra room. Gained space for sure, Clean and tidy!
2.) The signal is so good it had a buffering effect. No longer did I need the boost pedal in the loop. Volume Drop Solved!
3.) All Noise gone! Turning on and off the loop which ads 20 pedals, 100' of cable, 2 large power supplies' and other nasty things. I hear absolutely nothing when the effects loop is turned on now. AMAZING!
4.) all effects just simply sound better, work exactly as they should.

I don't know if everyone will have the same result but if your running a massive set up like me, I highly recommend these cables. Ohh and they arrived in less than 2 full days with free shipping. Thanks Tom at sweetwater.

I was really interested in the "flat" cables promoted by Warwick/Rockboard. But the import fees made them prohibitively expensive. I told my Sweetwater rep at the time that Sweetwater should find a way to import the product and sell it at a reasonable cost. They did it one better. They imported the EBS flat cables, made in Sweden, and started selling them at a very reasonable price. I LOVE these cables! I can easily add two pedals to my pedal board with the space saved by these cables. I don't know whether you want to "go for the gold," or stick with the deluxe. Either way, you can't go wrong. These are the best pedal board cables I've ever seen.
