These patch cables have been flawless for the past few months since I bought them. I would give them a full 5 stars, but I need to give them a few more months before I post an updated review of the EBS HP-10 gold-plated flat patch cables 3-pack. But my main reason for loving them is that when I replaced my old stompbox patch cables with these... all the horrible crackling pops - gone! I love my bass even more now with these EBS gold patchers!

These cables are simply amazing. I was previously using earnie ball flat patch cables, while those are good cables in their own right, they just aren't as good as EBS patch cables. With the EBS patch cables I noticed more fidelity coming through my amp, and I also noticed an almost silent noise floor. If you're on the fence about these, i'd recommend getting them. You could always return them if they don't work out. But I suspect you'll keep them!

Not sure what the low reviews are talking about - these are stellar cables... maybe they just received bad ones?

Extremely rugged, small form-factor, and noiseless. Combined with Mogami cables to and from the board, my guitar sounds like it's running direct to amp w/ a short cable.

Will check back in a few months to update this review but so far I don't see myself using anything else.

Ebs makes good stuff. These are great if your looking to upgrade or created a pedal board. No interference. And the fact that they are hand soldered is awesome.

I bought these the first time because they had the smallest profile of any cable. Clean sound and no hiss. I have replaced all my patch cables to EBS and I'm very pleased with my sound.

Purchased these over the premium gold series and was a bit disappointed at the hiss noise . From 1 to 10 the hiss is around a 2 or 3. Besides that, they are sturdy cables but tough to work with once connecting a pedal to another . I think the Premium Gold series are way quieter and easier to work with around your pedals.

All were scratchy and noisy....waste of money

I wired one of my pedal boards with these cables. They sound good are very quite and come in enough different lengths to wire a pedal board right. The flat ends allow you to get your pedals very close to each other. They twist very easy if you need to make different angle connections. Will be buying more as I need them.

I saw the new High Performance flat cables and decided to give EBS one more chance. I previously ordered several EBS Gold flat cables and discovered that for some reason they would not work with all of my pedals. Specifically, the plugs would not seat all the way in some of the jacks on certain pedals. I was bitterly disappointed as I loved the flat design and tone. I decided to try the new High Performance flats to see if maybe they would work for me. I am not sure what EBS changed, but the HP flats work perfectly with all of my pedals, including the pedals that previously would not work with the Gold flats. The design is fantastic, and the cables feel very solid and sturdy while being unobtrusive at the same time. The tone is clear, robust and dead silent. I have already ordered more HP flat cables and highly recommend them.
