Schecter BälSäc E-1 FR Electric Guitar - Black Orange Crackle Reviews

Solidbody Electric Guitar with Mahogany Body, Maple Neck, Ebony Fingerboard, 2 Humbucking Pickups, and Floyd Rose Tremolo - Black Orange Crackle

Hailing from the planet Ennui, BälSäc the Jaws ‘o Death is Gwar’s elder statesman and battle-axe wielding guitarist. Along with bass player Beefcake the Mighty and drummer JiZMak Da Gusha, BälSäc is responsible for the grinding rhythms that undergird Gwar’s ever-evolving musical mythos. When you’re fighting an intergalactic battle against the Master, you need the right sonic weapon. That’s why BälSäc teamed with Schecter to create the BälSäc E-1, a swaggering mahogany-bodied electric guitar with a carbon rod-reinforced set maple neck. Powered by two fire-breathing Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers and equipped with a Floyd Rose 1500 tremolo bridge, the BälSäc E-1 is an existential threat to “all that is uptight,” even more so given its foreboding black orange crackle finish. Get ready to go to war with the BälSäc E-1 from Schecter!

Another Banger!

By Stack from Minnesota on January 12, 2022 Music Background: Metal and Jazz

This thing is a beast and is my number 1 I pick up now. Fishmans are just perfect in this baby and the balance of 1500 series Floyd is always a treat. You can't beat Schecter guitars or their quality. The neck is a tad thicker than my special edition but doesn't stop the shred.

Schecter Bälsac E-1 FR

This baby is LOUD! Then you plug it in lol…honestly though it is fantastic. First thing you notice of course is the body with it's super electrified look. I love that Sweetwater let's you pick your exact guitar! This model has lots of differentiation between them (look-wise). so you can get one that is to your taste. The finish too is excellent. The next thing you notice is the shaping of the body. It is an explorer style of course but the shape is augmented by the killer angles cut into the body. Speaking of the finish…it is very good and has a pearl-ish border inlay that is a nice detail. Supposedly this comes with stainless steel frets which is a great upgrade as well. Playing this is pure joy. The neck is super fast and just makes it easy to do technical runs all over. The Fishman pickups sound great and are very crunchy with gain. I was surprised to find no battery on board for them. I played a bunch of riffs from Ride the Lightning last night and man what a kick *** time on this! The wife promptly shut the door to the room so yea I was in my happy place! I would mention that there are no fret markers on the face of the neck—so that may be an adjustment for some players. All-in-all I am super happy with this purchase. The guys shipped it out quickly and packaged it nicely so it arrived in great condition. Having the warranty is a nice bonus too. Definitely recommend if you're a metal-head like myself!

Legendary Schecter quality continues with this Artist Model

By King Blood from Atlanta, GA on June 15, 2021

Built for aggressive styles but capable of clean sparkle as well. Attention to detail and quality components that has made Schecter a respected builder are on display here. The pickups deliver all the sweet tone you would expect from Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers and the guitar arrived with beautifully low action and smooth fretwork throughout. The mahogany body is of medium weight and balances nicely with the sturdy maple neck. The crackle finish is flawless and the combination of a solid Floyd Rose and locking tuners eliminate tuning issues.

Looking for a solid, well built metal machine, look no further!

Love this guitar, but there's just one thing.

By Leo on September 13, 2022 Music Background: Experienced guitarist

It plays beautifully. It looks absolutely stunning. When I ordered it, all my buddies had to look it up cause they didn't believe it was real. But, this is when that missing half of a star came into play. As soon my good friend, we'll call him Jeff, noticed the name of this magnificent instrument, he immediately seized the opportunity to taunt me because he read the guitar's name as "ballsack." While this partially Schecter's fault, my friend is the antagonist in this situation. The Tuco to my Heisenberg. But, as I said. This guitar ******* ROCKS!!
