Purchased for my 2026 Tokai MIJ "Love Rock" Les Paul that I strapped a Les Trem on. The case fits it perfectly, there's no wiggle in the body, and even with the Les Trem on it, I can shut the lid and snap it shut nice and securely. It requires a bit more pressure applied to the top of the case, to squish the spring down a little, but it shuts!

I have the same model case for my 335, and it weirdly lacks my two main flaws with this case: A very small accessory pocket, and not enough space on the left side of the peghead. The accessory pocket is just barely big enough for a strap and a pack of strings, and at the headstock, the case touches the D string tuner. I was able to grab a clamp and compress the foam a little so it's not directly touching, but both things are annoying enough for me to knock a star off.

Either way, this seems like the best solution for a TSA case for a Les Paul at this price point, and I'm pretty happy with it. The only thing better would be the SKB iSeries, which is a bit more expensive, 10 lbs heavier, and more bulky to gig with. I'd recommend it to anyone needing a beefy case for touring or local gigging!

Looks amazing. Guitar fits a little too snug but I guess that's not really a bad thing. I just can't leave the strap on and wrap it around the contours because it is just too tight of a fit. Oh well. Itis kind of big and bulky as well but since it is supposed to be airborne ready, it has to be.
The guitar I use it for is the 2025 Les Paul Studio Session in Cobalt Burst.

This case has been absolutely wonderful, it's locks feel solid, the interior is this beautiful royal blue which really makes any warmer colored Les Paul pop and most importantly; I knocked over this case once while it was standing up vertically. I expected the worst but my Gibson was perfectly fine. The only addition I'd like is more storage space, you can barely fit a strap in here but that's pretty minor. I just wish gibson made these for more guitars and not just the SG and Les Paul.

Needed a case for my lp custom. This one fits the bill perfectly. As usual I can't find a blemish on it.

This is, I believe the 5th Generation of this case. Not as good as the gen 1 case. However, the TSA style locks and clasp are great so far. Interior is nice. The foam is firm not plush. My 2022 Gibson Les Paul Studio fits very well with almost no movement. That being said, left side tuning machines are touching the left side of the case. It's not pressed against it hard, yet still touching. I would buy this case again for $50 more than the standard brown Gibson case.

I got really excited after reading the reviews and seeing reviews on YouTube but boy is everyone wrong about these cases. These cases are very poorly made. I ordered three in one go because I've been looking for good reliable cases for my Gibson Les Pauls, I thought this was going to be the answer to my prayers but it most definitely is not. What's the problem? First, the construction. These are poorly put together. The latches on two of the three cases were installed crooked, which means they wouldn't "click" into the place. The interior styrofoam is poorly glued in, and one of them would pull right out. The hinges do not have bumpers to protect them, so these will easily get damaged when moving around. The TSA latches are of the absolute poorest quality. When opened, they are loose, and when latched, all that holds them in is a tiny lip of plastic which will easily wear out or break and alas - will not stay closed. The "bumpers" that are molded as part of the case are not strong at all, and eventually will crack off these cases. The interior design is poorly laid out because in all the guitars I fitted, the bass side tuning pegs - particularly the D string - pushes into the side of the interior of the case. This will break your headstock. Speaking of fit, a 2019-2021 Les Paul Special does fit this case. My other Gibson USA Les Pauls fit great. The only positive note on these cases, is that the body fit is very snug. I'll be sticking to my SKB ATA cases until something better comes along. SKB ATA cases do not have as snug as a fit, but the construction of the bumpers, latches, and the neck/headstock resting angle (both lateral and flat) are significantly better.

Snug fit for my Gibson Les Paul Standard. This case is built like a tank. When my guitar is in the case there is no room for the guitar to move around. The cost is well worth it for the protection that it provides. I feel the case is better than the Gibson Chainsaw cases from the past. Nice move Gibson.
