Gibson Acoustic Elvis Dove Acoustic-electric Guitar - Ebony Reviews
Looking to capture some of the King’s Vegas-period magic? The Gibson Acoustic Elvis Dove is a black-on-black beauty that’s modeled on a guitar given to Elvis Presley by his father in 1969 — supposedly to celebrate Elvis earning his black belt in karate! It became a regular during his live performances during the early and mid-'70s, no doubt because the Dove’s Sitka spruce top and maple back and sides offer a powerful, cutting strumming tone that the King favored. As with all things Elvis, this Dove is dripping with style: the stark ebony finish highlights the mother-of-pearl dove inlays in the bridge and gold-plated Grover Keystone tuners on the headstock. An LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup rounds this Dove out, all adding up to an axe worthy of the King himself!

Gibson Dove- Elvis Edition
My first impression of this guitar was how beautiful it was. But, once I played it, I knew it was a high end instrument. The tone and resonance of this acoustic/electric was amazing! Love the gold tuners and the dove inlays!
The King of Rock n Roll lives on
Another great guitar added to the legacy of the King of Rock n Roll. A must have for any Elvis fan.
