Small Footprint...Mighty Sound!
The DW Design Series Frequent Flyer is sized perfectly to deliver big sound from a smaller footprint drum set. The HVLT and HVX maple shells really sing. The 12x20 bass drum is perfect!
The build quality is significant. The hardware is superior. That being said, this is not a featherlite drum set. That is a consideration if you are planning to buy it and tote it around from gig to gig. My kit will remain in my music room so for me it is a non issue.
However if you don't mind carrying a few extra lbs of drum shells, the DW Frequent Flyer will more than deliver on stage.
