Broke after only 1 year
Cast aluminum is brittle. So, no surprise they didn't last long. Very overpriced for something so cheaply made
Offset direct drive levers
These worked great and made the response quick until one of the lower hinges broke in half. They are made of cast aluminum. This should be hardened steel. Not worth the $ for me.
Pretty good, but...
I definitely like the feel and responsiveness of my Offset double pedal after installing these direct drive links. The pedal was really good before, now it's just that much better. However, the adjustment screw on the bottom of the cams hits the direct drive links when you play the pedal with them installed. I think I can remedy this situation with some lower-profile button head cap screws. All in all, it was a good purchase, but they could be designed just a bit better.
Direct drive links
Well I could not get nothing out of the official Pearl web site! no price sheet for the pedal parts, so what good are the part #s if you cant look up the prices or even order them!
So I came here! whala! took about 2 seconds to find what I was looking for!
and these links actually look better, (as the pearl ones reach out farther and have an extra hole in them!)
Think these might work better, but also the original added holes are for lowering the pedal height (witch I might add is to high to begin with?)
not sure as I have not purchased them as of yet.
but when I am ready I will most likely order from here!
