Sugar Bytes Cyclop Twisted Bass Synthesizer Software Instrument
Sugar Bytes Cyclop Twisted Bass Synthesizer Software Instrument Reviews
Sugar Bytes' Cyclop Synthesizer serves up bass with attitude - and plenty of it. Your tweaky self will relish dialing up monstrous basses and modulating them with Cyclop's onboard Wobble Generator and Sound Knob. Cyclop sports no fewer than six synthesis engines: Saw Regiment, Analog Sync, FM, Transformer, Spectromat, and Phase Stressor. If that's not enough for serious low-freq mayhem, you also get ten filter types, plus vowel mode to make your monster talk. Then there's the sub oscillator, bass processor, and over 800 presets. Go ahead - take Sugar Bytes' Cyclop out for a spin.

Cyclops is awesome.
I bought Cyclop watched the tutorial video and within 15 minutes of using it I wrote an entire Zydeco song with the first bass line I created in Fl Studio. It has been copyrighted and is now on my new Southern Soul CD.
I recommend it to anyone who loves a good simple and straightforward bass synth. It is not difficult to learn how to use it.
Good EDM synth
This is a good synth for EDM basses and leads but that's about it. You can get some other cool sounds out of it that are more usable in other genres namely glitch sounds and build up/break down fx. That being said it is designed as an EDM bass synth and that it does well.
So and So
It seems like it has plenty of potential, but unless you're a really good sound designer, I don't think you can get really interesting sounds. It's certainly interesting. One thing that bothers me about it though is that when launched, the sound starts different each time. I wonder if this is due to a lack of osc sync?
Wow synth Bass
What a great Bass, Lots of presets and thing to twiddle. I've been inspired to write quite a few songs from some of the presets. So much to do, nice layout to.
Cyclop Is a Beast
Cyclop is a pretty awesome mono bass synth. I have seen some interesting reviews for this VSTi hating on it for jumping on the wobble band wagon. While it is true that this synth is designed to work particularly well with wobble bass I find it is capable of much, much more. I find the sounds dirty and gritty (which is what i was looking for). I am pretty sure you could get some cleaner tones out of this bad boy but why would you want to? It comes with quite a few presets that are categorized into the appropriate categories. I have a feeling I will be using this synth long after the wobble bass trend has passed simply because it has some killer bass tones that I think will stand the test of time. Oh and the wobbles are out of this world sick by the way!
I've Had this for some time
This synth is pretty d*** good tons of flexibility. I have had this for a couple months before sweetwater started selling there plug-ins they are a solid company and for dub step this synth can do some cool stuff.
