Its 34 buttons and 16 touch-sensitive Analog Feel potentiometers enable you to get hands on with your plugins, as well as set levels, adjust pan, mute and solo tracks, deploy sends, and select tracks, with zero mouse clicking. You also get a high-resolution screen that displays EQ and compressor curves, VU metering, and track information. Console 1 Compact comes with Softube’s Core Mixing Suite, which includes the company’s Tape, FET Compressor Mk II, and Bus Processor effects — and more — all organized into dedicated Tape/Preamp, Filter, Shape, Equalizer, Compressor, and Drive sections on the control surface. Console 1 Compact also includes VESA mounting options and a premium anodized aluminum top with injection-molded smooth sides and back. Love the new Compact
This is such a great addition! The smaller format is great for desk space! I have been using it with the Flow Studio and I love the integration together. Compact does everything the MK3 does, so you don't have to worry about the learning curve. There is some small changes but very intuitive and easy to learn. I have both the MK3 and Compact for different mixing rooms so going back and forth between the two is no problem. Of course Softube always has top notch quality in the build of their units! The workflow is just a game changer for me with Flow Studio! All I need is a Softube transport, and I will be in heaven.
