Plenty of raw materials to work with
Cinematic Thunder contains four master patches: Sticks, Mallets, Group Hits, and Group Big Hits, along with six types of drums — surdo, 18" toms, 16" toms, 14" toms, 12" toms, and 10" toms. The Sticks patch delivers punchy attacks at low velocity and clear, crisp tones at higher velocities. The Mallets patch yields deep, soft attacks at lower velocities and thunderous effects at higher velocities. The Group Hits patch contains hits, along with 2-drum flams for each drum. The Group Big Hits is massive — at Sweetwater, we use it when we really need to make an impact. It includes single hits and flams played at maximum volume.
