This case does fit like a glove!
I purchased a Viper 1000 QM and religiously ordered this case. Sure it was kind of expensive but it's made for this guitar. The perfect fit! My guitar arrived in this case in a box inside a bigger box well secured with the expansion foam pouches. Thank you
This case is really snug.
The fit of this case is extremely snug (really good). Do not make the mistake that I did and think they sent me the wrong case. At first fit it seemed that the guitar was about 1/4" to wide to fit Found out that was by design. I was instructed by ESP to push the treble side in, then apply pressure to fit the bass side in. Really high quality case and protects the guitar exceptionally well.
Solid Quality Control
I bought this new at Sweetwater for a used LTD Viper 256 that I picked up. Awesome case (Awesome guitar too! Wicked tone using drop C. Love the weight, fat neck and body thickness...). Everything is tight. And, I don"t know if today"s Viper is a touch smaller or this is the design of the case, but, form-fitting is an understatement. It"s a higher density foam. I had to set the guitar in to the indentation, or form,with a little force. Just a little. And now the foam Is reset and hugs the guitar perfectly. The case is just like the guitar - built with work in mind.
