I'm a fan and big user of the Hosa Brand. They sound crystal clear and I always prefer this brand. I like the color coding as well. It helps keep track of what's connected to what. I highly recommend this brand and cable.

So what, a review about snakes? I decided to fire up my old TASCAM 38 1/2" tape 8 channel analog tape deck and it"s noise reduction units & connect it to my Soundcraft analog board. I forgot how many cables it takes! So 10 snakes, 2 audio patch bays and yet another Furman power conditioner later and it works! But here"s the story. I was almost done and realized I forgot about the patch cables in front and one of the RCA to RCA snakes in back. So I jury rigged the RCA to RCA and ordered the 3 snakes I needed. I eventually fired it up and it didn"t work, as expected. I started to check the jury rig and gave up - just too messy. I looked at Sweet Track and the package was supposed to arrive that day! It"s did. It turns out I had made another set up error and my jury rig was probably ok but now I can actually look and check. Yeah Sweetwater, Ben Porter, and Sweet Track.

This basic cable snake is exactly as represented. I use it to connect a Roland Studio Capture to an Allen & Heath analog mixing board for routing music and SFX to particular speakers and monitors in a theater.

I like this snake for submix. Really good value.
