This is the only compressor at this time that can attack faster than 0.1ms.
A lot of "pro's" and novices use a choice compressor and think they're finished.
leaving all sounds with and almost inaudible sub millisecond spike in amplitude which causes listening fatigue and other problems.
these spikes get mishandled and crushed into a super harsh sound by the master limiter, degrading the longevity of the song.
C1 must be applied to each sound individually at the fastest attack option at the end of the individual sound processing column.
There are no needs to have transients less than 1ms in your mix. it only hurts the ears. This is one of only plugins i use from waves. very good.
