Can't Mix Without Them
I was worried that all of the rave reviews of this plugin were from people who have never actually used a real one. Apparently not. All of the magic is there. It has that "oops I just maxed out everything" effect that the hardware has. You can't use just one. Once you put that high-mid hot sauce on one track, nothing else can keep up without it.
Very nice
Great for sculpting kicks, snares and bass. A little goes a long way, like all API gear.
THE kick drum eq
Wow. I saw this plugin on sale at Sweetwater and thought it would be nice to have. I did a little research and found most people use it for kick and bass. I currently have two projects where the kick just wasn't happening correctly. I bought this, downloaded it and literally within an hour both projects' kick came out PERFECT with this EQ. Literally magic. So intuitive.
