The best sounding cymbals!

This particular set of cymbals are the best sounding by far. The 17" and 19" really have the sound I was looking for, and the master sound hats are really crisp. Great cymbals!!! Thank you sweetwater!!

The best, with a great deal too.

These cymbals are the best. Super versatile, great for so many styles, super tough, too. Plus, to buy these individually could be $+, so it's a great deal. Personally I really like these with a darker, thinner, more dry cymbal like an Istanbul Agop, and maybe a china for some heavier vibes. Unless you're a beginner or play jazz, you need these. Right now. They will change your life.

Now for a story...

I'm a student drummer, and although much of my instruction is jazz oriented, I have done some rock gigs, and I'm crazy enough to believe that studying jazz makes one proficient in rock drumming as well. So, I was away from home visiting family in Long Island. My brother-in-law, also a guitarist, gets a phone call...his drummer had a family emergency, and was unable to make the gig for that evening. The problem was, my drum kit was home. Fortunately, there was a house kit, and even more fortunate, I did have my recently ordered, but yet unused A Zildjian Rock Pack in my truck.(The material I'd be playing would be a combination of hard rock/heavy metal originals and covers.) So, I showed up at the gig, set up, and smiled as the brand new cymbals looked beautiful, shimmering under the stage lights. Turns out that the second band canceled, so I was in for a long night in the throne. WE HAD A BLAST!! It was one of those gigs where we were ON POINT and we SCORCHED the stage!! The A Zildjian Rock Pack was a wise investment...the Ping Ride had powerful stick definition with just the right amount of wash, and easily cut through the sound. The Medium Thin Crashes punctuated the accents with adequate power, and the Mastersound hi hats had that powerful "chick" sound with all the cutting power I needed for that high energy, heavy metal sound!! We had fun playing, and we connected with the audience so well we did FOUR ENCORES!! Through it all my new Zildjians were up to the task, on point, and worth every penny (I actually don't mind paying the MasterCard bill...haha)!! I look forward to many more years of owning and playing these beauties!! I'm open to experiment with different brands of hardware...heads...even drums...but for cymbals, there is only one ..ZILDJIAN!!

Great addition to my kit

I've been a drummer for almost 20 years now and wanted to expand my kit with a few more cymbals at a reasonable price. This cymbal pack checked off all my boxes, and my kit is bigger and better than ever!

Great "1st Outfitter"

You COULD buy your cymbal set "ala-carte" and pay WAY more, but if you have a kit you need to outfit with brass and want to save some $$...this is a fantastic choice. We got this set for our studio drums, and can easily tweak the EQ To get exactly what we need from this setup.

Ask any drummer at Sweetwater, and chances are, we'll tell you that Zildjian represents the gold - or rather bronze - standard in cymbal making. Seriously, Avedis Zildjian may have been trying to make gold, but he did even better when he formulated what's arguably the best cymbal material on the planet. We've played virtually every type of Zildjian cymbal out there, and you won't find anyone at Sweetwater who wouldn't happily recommend their instruments to you, plus their sticks and other accessories are also pretty sweet. Whether you're grabbing your first S or ZBT pack or have saved up for the A or K series cymbals you've always wanted, Sweetwater is your source for all things Zildjian.
