Step Up to 3-way Monitors
Event's 2030 3-way powered monitors give you accuracy and bass response that only 3-way monitors can provide. If you've never worked on 3-ways before, you're in for a treat. Each 2030 sports two 120 watt amps and three discrete drivers, allowing for stunningly accurate reproduction across the entire audio spectrum. The 7.1" woofer and rear-firing port produce articulate low end that you can really feel, while the wave-guided midrange and high-frequency drivers serve up a seamless soundstage, liquid mids, and silky, extended highs. Check out the Event 2030, and be prepared to be amazed.
Event 2030 3-way Active Monitor Features at a Glance:- 3-way design optimized for near-field monitoring
- A wave guide assembly designed for accuracy
- Dedicated driver for the critical midrange
The Event 2030 studio monitor is a 3-way design, and at the leading edge of a positive trend. Artists, engineers, and producers are re-discovering what 3-ways can do, in terms of increased accuracy, extended frequency response, and optimized soundstaging. Having crossover points at 400Hz and 3kHz, and three dedicated drivers to handle the bass, mids, and highs, the 2030 is able to deliver astonishing clarity across the critical midrange - an area of the frequency spectrum that is often compromised by the existence of a crossover point in two-way monitor designs. It also means that the 7.1" woofer, freed from the burden of midrange duties, can do what it does best - deliver beefy bass response down to an impressive 38Hz. Likewise, the tweeter can concentrate on serving up silky, extended highs to 22kHz.
A wave guide assembly designed for accuracyEvent's 2030 incorporates a new wave guide assembly purpose-built to house the its mid-range and high frequency drivers as well as optimize dispersion and power response. The result is a spacious, seamless, and coherent soundstage that's not only exceedingly accurate - it also minimizes listening fatigue during long sessions.
Dedicated driver for the critical midrangeFor the reproduction of critical midrange frequencies, the Event 2030 employs a 3.5-inch cone transducer, engineered with an optimized magnetic circuit and a pressed pulp and polypropylene cone. Loaded onto a shallow wave guide, the 2030's midrange driver gives you increased sensitivity and output, with vanishingly low distortion. This is largely responsible for the 2030's exceptional reproduction of vocals, enabling you to place them easily and accurately in a mix.
