St. Louis, Missouri
-
How were you involved with music before coming to Sweetwater?
I've worked in the school music service industry for 25 years and have been playing bass professionally for over 35 years.
-
Why did you first apply for a job at Sweetwater?
I was encouraged by former coworkers and supervisors to consider a career with Sweetwater and I was excited to be part of the Sweetwater Instrument Rental program.
-
Do you speak any other languages?
I minored in Italian in college, but definitely not fluent.

Not really...I'm the only one. Says the bass player.

Describe the most dramatic situation in which you provided the Sweetwater Difference for a customer, or the most unusual/creative solution to a customer's problem:
I delivered a rental exchange directly to a student's home instead of dropping it off at the school on a Friday just so the student would have the instrument over the weekend. Grandma was home and accepted the instrument, and she was impressed that I would take the time to bring it by. I just figured he would have to practice!
-
What in your background prepared you most to help your customers with their audio needs?
I've been a professional musician for 35 years and have been around and worked with audio that entire time. Some of it is bound to stick!
-
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Sweetwater team?
The team is focused on the goal and focused on the customer experience. That is so important! Everyone is treated with respect, from the customer to co-workers, top to bottom.
-
What is the most important thing you've learned at Sweetwater?
Patience, and persistence.

Probably with a band called Nonstop Classic Rock. We played at a venue called Branson Landing in front of fire cannons and giant fountains in Branson, MO for about four thousand people one night. Fun gig!
