I've been passionate about all things music since I was a young boy and have been playing guitar since 1995. I am self taught and have played in a few bands, covering a variety of music. I have played everything from small basements to block parties to 1200+ seat venues. My interest in music also inspired me to do some songwriting and eventually home recording.
I have also spent time in a professional studio environment as a consultant during both the tracking and mixing process.
I look forward to being able to apply my experience and knowledge to any needs you have!

Technical strengths:
I've been using Apple products for over 20 years and have become very familiar with their operating system and software like Logic. Plus, here at Sweetwater, we are always being trained and kept up to date on everything!

I love Progressive Rock, hiking, working on cars and woodworking.

My own experiences with playing and recording.

Being able to put my always-expanding musical experience and expertise to use everyday.

A venue that held about 12-1500 people.

Randy's the best. I explained my need to have very basic but professional voiceover recording equipment in my home and Randy very knowlegeably recommended what I should purchase, keeping minimal cost and complexity in mind. I received my equipment (computer, audio device, headset and microphone) promptly after ordering and the activation/installation instructions Randy provided were crystal-clear and easy to follow. Randy also provided me with links to video tutorials on Studio One and let me know that both he and the Sweetwater technical staff are available to support me as I encounter questions. It has been a great experience, and my "hope" right now is that I get so acclaimed as a part-time voice-over professional that I'll be coming back to Randy for an audio equipment upgrade!!!
