I was first introduced to music at the age of 8 with a drum practice pad and have been making music ever since. After touring the north of England with my band as a bass guitarist and spending some time in a couple recording studios, I knew that I had to keep music as a focus in my life.
I earned my degree in audio production, where I learned how to engineer and worked at Sterling Productions until I was able to put together a small studio of my own. I've recorded, produced, mixed and mastered a wide variety of music as well as continue to write and record my own.
I discovered Sweetwater in 2010 and was blown away. In 2012 I realized that I had to be a part of the team.
I've worked with Sweetwater in designing and providing support for professional & home recording studios, as well as church sound systems & other sound venues.
I am dedicated to providing you with the experience, knowledge, and support that you will need.

2011: BA in Audio Production from The Art Institute of Washington. Magna Cum Laude Graduate.
2012: Certificate of Completion from Sweetwater University.
We work closely with our manufacturers and are constantly training with them. Twice a week each week we attend presentations in our performance theater to learn about new products and more as well as have daily visits with multiple manufacturers during our office hours. -

What in your background prepared you most to help your customers with their audio needs?
I have been where a lot of my customers have been and understand what it is like to try and break into an industry where it is hard to find support and answers. Because Sweetwater allows me to provide both of these to my customers, I am able and committed to helping my customers accomplish their musical goals.

I recently ordered a 2014 Gibson Les Paul Studio Pro from Paul Eckert. Between Paul's excellent service, online pictures, inspection, warranty extension, and free shipping, all my doubts about ordering a guitar online are gone. The guitar arrived in excellent condition. I wanted to take a moment to share about my experience with Sweetwater in general and Paul Eckert specifically. I was a refugee from another major on-line supplier of musical equipment/gear and was looking for alternatives after a couple really bad experiences there. I ended up on the phone talking to Paul and I've never looked back. I think I've purchased 8 or 10k worth of gear for my studio through Paul in the last 6 months and its been a real pleasure. I always deal directly with Paul and he never fails to give me the best service possible. He is very responsive to questions about different items and never keeps me waiting. He takes an interest not just in what I'm buying, but knows what I'm doing with my studio and band and has been able to recommend items where I wasn't exactly sure what I needed.Purchases are easy, fast, and painless. I pretty much just have to say "I need X" and he takes care of all the rest. Item arrives a couple days later. Every last item has arrived quickly, well packed and in perfect condition, with just the right amount of Bit-O-Honey and Atomic Fireballs included so the folks in the warehouse are no slouches either ;) Paul is my man and Sweetwater is my source :)
