Moses Buenrostro
Moses Buenrostro
My name is Moses Buenrostro, Sales Engineer here at Sweetwater. I started playing guitar at age 7 and quickly became obsessed with music on every level. I was obsessed with learning new music genres, new musical instruments, and I became obsessed with the creation process for music in a professional recording studio.
This deep passion for music that I accumulated over the years led me to study Audio Engineering at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Mesa, AZ. There I really honed in on the technical aspects of music production and what it takes to record in a professional studio (analog reel to reel tape, SSL consoles, Outboard FX, Pro Tools, Mastering etc).
After finishing my studies I moved to Los Angeles, CA and began working as an Assistant/Runner for the Sound Factory studio in Hollywood, CA. There I got the opportunity to work with artists like Doja Cat, Ludacris, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Joe Keerey from the Netflix series Stranger Things.
Overall, I'm a fan of music just like many of you out there who might be reading this. I am constantly looking at the latest releases and gear from the industry manufacturers to ensure I can give my customers the best info as it's released. If you're a musician or a fan music I'm confident we will find something to connect over and have an engaging conversation!
So, please never hesitate to reach out to me via phone or email.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

Why did you first apply for a job at Sweetwater?
Several years ago, I was looking into buying some audio gear and I came across Sweetwater. The experience I received from them was so helpful and next level that their name never escaped my brain. Fast forward to this year at a time when I was in search for a new job and the experience I had with Sweetwater came rushing back to me as a solid solution for a position that could use my skills and I began applying from there.

Real-life hero:
My grandfather Candido "El Tijuano" Torres is my real life hero, he was a professional boxer in his hey day in the 1970s in Mexico and even got prospected by Muhammad Ali at the height of his career. I admire him for his work ethic and approach to life, he was always the most generous and kind person in the room and you would've have never guessed he liked to punch people in the face. To this day he works hard to provide for his family learning new skills and trades over the years but never turning down a fight.
