What was your occupation before coming to Sweetwater?
I've been Audio Engineering since 2006 with a bunch of very different from Rock to Electronic, and even a book soundtrack. I also did system design and install on the side.

Why did you first apply for a job at Sweetwater?
When Sweetwater first opened their campus on Route 30, I took a company tour. I was blown away by the entire experience-the service, the facility, and incredible gear. I had to make myself a part of it.

Instruments you play:
I've been playing guitar since age 8. I also play bass, drums, mandolin, banjo, as well as anything with keys. It's been mostly my RD-2000 lately. Traditionally it's been a lot more synths. I still have my Prophet Rev2 which is were I spend a lot of time.

Family info:
I've been married to my beautiful wife Jessica since 2009. We have three kids together-Vance, Kyla and Ali. Two dogs, Mazie, who is half German Shepard and half Box and Cooper is is mostly Australian Shepard

Other stuff we should know about you (hobbies, talents, interests, etc.):
I'm a homesteader. Complete with chickens, gardens, and solar panels. I'm really into mountain biking and go often with my son. I play a lot of music with my kids and for my church.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the Sweetwater team?
Everything! Sweetwater is an incredible place to work-the people, the facility, and especially the customers! I leave everyday with new ideas, new music to listen to, and lots of great stories.

I've worked with a wide variety of artists. To name a few: Billy Gibbons, Manchester Orchestra, Noah Kahan, Gov't Mule, Minus the Bear, Chainsmokers, Kenny G, Gogol Bordello, Seether, etc.

Hello Mike and All, Our new guitar was delivered earlier today, and as a first time customer of Sweetwater, I wanted to tell you that we are now a lifetime customer. Here is why: 1) The customer service is outstanding. Mike Godlove, our Sales Engineer, was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and treated us like VIPs. That makes all the difference in the world. 2) Sweetwater’s 55 point guitar evaluation. My new guitar arrived in impeccable condition. No flaws whatsoever. The strings were even in perfect tune. Gone are the days where I stress about having to return equipment, or have to immediately drop $45 to have my new guitar setup, because it arrived virtually unplayable. 3) The guitar that is shown in the picture on your website is the exact guitar that I get. I never even considered that before, but now it’s something that I feel is absolutely necessary. 4) This goes along with the first item above, but the follow-up phone calls and emails by Mike, made a huge difference after initially ordering. Mike even sent us high quality pictures of my guitar, which made me start to feel pride of ownership immediately (before even receiving it), as opposed to ordering from somewhere else, getting one straight off the rack, and all you can do is hope for the best. 5) No sales tax 6) Free shipping. It is my pleasure to respond to the fantastic service given to me by my personal sales engineer Mike Godlove. He always contacts me when I make an order and sometimes when I don't ; he'll just call sometime to make sure everything is ok or clue me in on a special deal. I was in Miami, Fl once doing recording sessions and I needed a special plug-in for my recording software. I purchased it at Sweetwater online, downloaded and installed it when all of a sudden I get a call from Mike asking "Do you need any help loading that software or using our automated software download system?" WOW! Although I didn't it was great to know he was there. When an order is delayed I alsways get a call from Mike updating me on the status of the order and setting my mind at ease. He never seems dis-interested and is always helpful. My hats off to the excellent customer service supplied by Mike Godlove, in my book he is a WINNER!

Every time I shop with Sweetwater I experienced the utmost in professionalism, especially from my sales engineer Mike Godlove. He is always attentive, personable, and very knowledgeable. One particular instance was when I wanted to purchase a PRS Vela Satin, they hadn't been advertised and weren't available in any stores. However Mike went above and beyond to contact PRS and secure me one. Mr Godlove has impressed me so much that I've already referred my friends to him.
