Matthew Langston
Matthew Langston
I've been a full-time musician for the past 22 years - playing 300 gigs a year in the Pacific NW (solo, and w/ my Trio), as MD for bands, serving on worship staff at churches (including Lakewood Church in Houston), as a songwriter/arranger, and have produced CD's, done TV & radio work, etc.
I built my music business by building rapport with my clients and venues, earning trust and exceeding their expectations by bringing top-notch music with unsurpassed professionalism... Which leads me to Sweetwater!
When I discovered Sweetwater 15 years ago, I was immediately impressed. They always went "above & beyond," standing behind the gear and offering a personal touch that is rare in this industry.
Then, when the events of 2020 shut down live music venues, it was my Sales Engineer who said to me, "You've been buying here for years - why don't you come work here?"
So we moved from Portland to Fort Wayne, and I'm thrilled to offer to my customers the same "Sweetwater difference" that I enjoyed for years.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the Sweetwater team?
I absolutely love being a part of a team where "Doing the right thing" is our modus operandi. That's the way I built my thriving music performance business (over 300 gigs yearly) - by going above & beyond, exceeding expectations (being the best), and serving customers the way I would want to be served if I were in their shoes. I'm thrilled to bring that same dedication and ethic to the team here!

I was on music staff at Lakewood Church in Houston, where I was a singer/songwriter/worship leader. The auditorium seated 8,200 people, and TV show (at that time) went to hundreds of thousands across Texas.
