Matt Emick
Matt Emick
Greetings! My name is Matt Emick, and I am your Sales Engineer. The guitar and recording bug bit me very early on (be careful, it is very contagious!). This affliction has lead me on an amazing journey working with a multitude of different artists. Since then, I have been absorbing as much information as I can about recording, playing, and achieving great sounds. This is probably one of the reasons I love working for Sweetwater: every couple of days I add new tools to my working knowledge of instruments and music. I look forward to sharing my expertise with you!
Having years of experience as an audio engineer, as well as having helped hundreds of clients achieve their goals, I am totally confident that I will be a valuable asset to you!
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

Matthew Emick has been taking care of my gear needs for years.... He is amazing!! No matter how I'm evolving my setup, he always has great suggestions, even some that have become the core of my live rig (Push controller). Thank you, Matt and Sweetwater, for providing the best service and making me a better musician! Cheers.

When I want the best advice in sound equipment and technology, I know I can rely on Matt to come through. He has not only provided me with valuable information about what equipment to purchase for my performing groups and theater productions, he has also been a valuable tech person and "troubleshooter" when I do installations of sound equipment in various venues

Matt Emick has been more than helpful throughout. This is my first year shopping with Sweetwater and so far there’s not been any issues. Even if there were any in the future, I feel safe that Matt Emick and the rest will be there to help.. to the best of their abilities. Matt gets a 10 star for me!

Buying gear doesn't get any better than Sweetwater. Matt Emick is the best sales person I've done business with in the last 54 years of playing music. All the other music stores are closed as far as I'm concerned.

Matt expresses a lot of genuine passion, is a wonderful resource, and a great guy. The world of sales has changed a lot over the past 10 years and the most successful outfits are recognizing the value in the ability to have a conversation more than ever. And in this approach, there is no substitute for integrity and finding that shared experience. He could likely write the Carnegie book, in his own words, but has otherwise given no indication that he’s read it. Matt is in earnest a peer to his clients, but also approaches these relationships confidently as an agent of a company in which he personally recognizes significant value for all parties. I’ve worked numerous multi-million dollar deals with representatives that have considerably less to offer their clientele. I appreciate the company that has treated him well so many years and tasked him with doing the same for me.
