Luke Herian
Luke Herian
I have been with Sweetwater since 2006. It has been humbling to work with thousands of great customers, from beginners to professionals, over the years. My goal here is to be as genuine as possible, and to offer real help and advice to assist my customers in making the best possible decisions when it comes to purchasing new equipment. I've learned a ton over all the years I've been involved with audio, mostly through hard learned lessons, and I want to help others avoid the common pitfalls out there, and benefit from all I've experienced.
I've spent many years as a drummer & guitarist, playing out live, and doing recording work in my home studio. For the last 15+ years most of my musical efforts are focused towards working in my home studio, using Pro Tools with a rotating cast of mics, preamps, outboard gear, etc. I still spend a good deal of time playing guitar and writing songs as well.
Since 2018 I've devoted a good portion of my time to the world of sound for worship, church AV, and training others in the ministry of audio. I'm passionate about helping churches make the most of their existing systems, and stewarding their resources well when it comes to future upgrades. I'm currently one of the regular FOH engineers at a 1500 member church, as well as the lead advisor for the sound teams of all of our church plants.
I've been very fortunate to learn so much through the people I've met and my experiences here at Sweetwater, but I'm still learning something new every day! It's this real world experience that allows me to offer advice and help to my customers, and to help them find what will suit their needs best. Get in contact with me here if I can do anything to help you!
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

Interview with Luke...

Luke is an excellent sales engineer. He’s helped me with my first purchases years ago when I was young and getting started in music. Now that I’m older and have been making music for a while, he’s also answering my more serious and technical questions in order to help me advance my recording quality. Sweetwater is a fantastic resource, not only for “gear discovery and acquisition”, but for knowledgeable advice and technical assistance too. I trust the advice and product recommendations you give me and I haven’t been let down yet. There aren’t many companies that maintain such an awesome and helpful relationship with all their customers like you do. Thank you!

Once again I'm blown away by the Sweetwater team specifically Luke Herian. This is my second online purchase of a guitar from Luke, the first being a Gibson 137 and now the Ibanez AF155. There was reluctance on the first purchase to go online however as I stated in my first letter but I was so impressed with Luke, the guitar, speed of delivery, etc., this is the only way to go. Wow, make a purchase and have the confidence knowing the support is there after the sale!!.

Luke Herian is the best! Professional, polite, friendly, goes above and beyond for his customers, great with communication, problem solving and follow up. I would totally recommend him and Sweetwater to any friends looking for gear. I do not have any right now that are looking though.
