Luke Herian
Luke Herian
I have been with Sweetwater since 2006. It has been humbling to work with thousands of great customers, from beginners to professionals, over the years. My goal here is to be as genuine as possible, and to offer real help and advice to assist my customers in making the best possible decisions when it comes to purchasing new equipment. I've learned a ton over all the years I've been involved with audio, mostly through hard learned lessons, and I want to help others avoid the common pitfalls out there, and benefit from all I've experienced.
I've spent many years as a drummer & guitarist, playing out live, and doing recording work in my home studio. For the last 15+ years most of my musical efforts are focused towards working in my home studio, using Pro Tools with a rotating cast of mics, preamps, outboard gear, etc. I still spend a good deal of time playing guitar and writing songs as well.
Since 2018 I've devoted a good portion of my time to the world of sound for worship, church AV, and training others in the ministry of audio. I'm passionate about helping churches make the most of their existing systems, and stewarding their resources well when it comes to future upgrades. I'm currently one of the regular FOH engineers at a 1500 member church, as well as the lead advisor for the sound teams of all of our church plants.
I've been very fortunate to learn so much through the people I've met and my experiences here at Sweetwater, but I'm still learning something new every day! It's this real world experience that allows me to offer advice and help to my customers, and to help them find what will suit their needs best. Get in contact with me here if I can do anything to help you!
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

The Sweetwater buying experience is a cut above everyone else. I especially liked seeing pictures of the actual guitar before buying. Thanks to Luke for the personalized service.

Luke Herian is my sales rep. He always gives me top-notch personal service, from returning my calls to answering my questions to closing the sale. I have done business with Sweetwater and Luke for several years because of the personal touch they add to their service. Especially the candy included with every shipment! lol!

Luke - I can see why Rex (the bass player in my band) continues to order gear from you guys if this type of service is the norm. I am generally pretty big on trying to spend my money locally to keep the local economy rolling but I'm also a big believer in customer service which seems to be a lost art these days. Price wise I found the same rig for basically the same price a bunch of different places including the local music store would have ordered it for me but I went with Rex's recommendation and tried you guys and so far I'm glad I did! From the very beginning of this deal you guys nailed that lost art of customer service better than anyone I've done business with in a long time! Local or otherwise. Based on my experience so far with Sweetwater I am a big fan and you can be sure I'll be checking with you before I make any of my next purchases and referring other musicians in our area to do the same!

Thanks for the opportunity to offer feedback. I needed the piece I ordered to use for a wedding that was coming up, so I needed the part by a deadline. I looked locally (Buffalo, New York area) to find the part I needed, but was unsuccessful. By the time I heard of Sweetwater and realized that I would have to wait for delivery, I was sure that I would miss my deadline. I got the number for Sweetwater, and the extension for Luke, and called. I left a message, Luke called back. The experience from that point on exceeded my expectations. First, even though I am remarkably without knowledge regarding sound equipment, Luke understood what I had, what I needed, what my deadline was, and made his recommendation. I placed the order and was very pleased to get the part one day before I needed it. The wedding went well, by the way. Luke sorted through my lack of knowledge and short information, and got for me what I needed a day ahead of deadline, all the while giving the impression that my small order was the most important thing on his mind. I appreciate that, and will definately look to Sweetwater for all of my future sound needs.

I love Sweetwater! I would not buy anywhere else for my needs. Always great products with great information and I love the tutorial videos on products and the demonstrations. And by the way, Luke is the best; a friend and engineer. He always follows up and has always taken interest in what I am trying to accomplish. A+++++
