Josh Hart
My musical journey began in middle school, where I fell in love with the bassoon in sixth grade. I loved the orchestral world, and have since been involved in it for over 10 years. I have been playing bassoon for over 20 years, loving athletic bands on trombone (8 years) and playing drums, guitar, and singing as a hobby.
Electric bassoon has been an obsession of mine ever since high school. Paul Hanson's work with Trent Jacobs's Little Jake bocal piezo pickup opened up a brand new sonic world to me -- I was hooked. After digging deep into the guitar effects world, I am delighted to bring pedal effects knowledge to all players, rock and classical alike. I relish the opportunity to help all instrumentalists achieve the dream sound in their heads.
My endless curiosity has allowed me to put together my own personal home studio from scratch. It can be done for a very low price point and is accessible to everyone! Of course, increases in quality can occur on many levels, and studio professionals will have much different needs. There are many routes to producing one's own sound, and the artistic freedom that my home studio has brought me is an opportunity that I am ecstatic to bring to all musicians, from the hobbyist to the touring professional.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.

Why did you first apply for a job at Sweetwater?
My relationship with Sweetwater began after encountering the personal touch of the Sales Engineer following my first order. I was caught off guard to be proactively followed up on and advised by a real human! When I finally made it out to the campus many months later, I called my Sales Engineer to try and make a few minutes to briefly introduce myself – I was given a 50-minute tour of the building! This trend of wildly exceeding my expectations as a customer, in combination with my desire to master my skills in sales learning from the best and to grow my personal connections with other musicians, made applying to Sweetwater a natural decision.
