I grew up in Tampa, Florida, and always had a passion for learning to play the guitar. I finally got one in middle school from a friend at church, and within a few months I was playing on stage! My love for music intensified from there, and I played in several bands both in church and in the Tampa live music scene, and eventually attended Southeastern University to study music and ministry. When not in school, I was touring with a pop punk band, as well as starting a traveling worship band that played youth summer camps.
I moved to Terre Haute Indiana in 2012 to help start a church, and learned a lot about live sound, lighting and stage design in that pursuit. I really developed a love for helping other musicians and sound engineers during that time, especially houses of worship needing upgrades. Soon I became the "go to" guy in my area for any music or gear related question!
I've brought that passion with me here to Sweetwater, and above all else just want to help people reach their musical potential and get the right gear to make their vision a reality.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.
