Andrew Wilson
Andrew Wilson
Hi! My name is Andrew Wilson, and I’m happy to be part of the Sweetwater team and your personal Sales Engineer! I have experience in many aspects of the music industry. From performance and studio and live production to teaching, I’ve worn many hats over the past 20+ years.
I’ve always loved music. From a very young age, I began my journey playing piano, guitar, drums, bass, and accordion. Along the way, I took an interest in audio engineering and performance, always trying to get better and be the best that I could be. Some of my first musical influences were the Jackson 5 and other Motown legends of the ’60s and ’70s. My biggest musical influences throughout high school and college were Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, and Led Zeppelin.
Since college, I have performed in bands on both synthesizer and accordion. I have seven years of experience as a music teacher working at School of Rock and Naperville Music Academy and running my own business as a private music coach.
I still record and perform to this day, actively learn about new and existing gear, and work to be the best I can be. I’m here to listen to the needs of each customer, provide solutions, and help each customer be the best they can be.
As your personal contact here at Sweetwater, please let me know anytime I can offer help or advice.
