Alex Burgess

I have been a musician ever since I beat guitar hero as wee little lad. Starting at the age of 12 I played guitar, bass, and sang (yelled) in various rock bands, with my heart set on becoming a rockstar. This included packing up my civic and moving from Maryland to Houston, TX with nothing but my guitars, amp, and a singular suitcase full of clothes to join a band and take my shot at making it big.

My experience gigging around and self recording, mixing, and mastering all of my projects taught me a ton about everything that goes into being a modern musician and set me up perfectly for a career here at Sweetwater helping people find all the gear that they want and need to succeed.
