Hi there! My name is Adam Cesarz, and I’m all about music! I’ve spent seven summers of my life studying music and trumpet performance at Interlochen arts camp up in the northern part of Michigan. That passion for music guided me to pursue a degree in audio music production at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. I mixed solo artists and bands on a Rupert Neve 5088 console using Apple Logic as well as Avid Pro Tools. I also did some field audio work for a pilot TV show in the area, capturing sounds for foley and recording room tone with my handy-dandy Zoom H4n.
I also love to sing! Almost too much. When I was studying to get my audio degree at Ohio University, I sang in a couple a cappella groups (check out Section 8 on YouTube!) and was even a member of the Singing Men of Ohio. In the meantime, I love singing, writing songs, and playing with my VoiceLive Touch as well as working with the program Reason.

Where are you from originally?
Originally born in Detroit, Michigan. Hopped over to Eagan, Minnesota, for a while then bounced back to Toledo, Ohio.

What was your occupation before coming to Sweetwater?
I worked for MeMedia in Toledo, Ohio. I captured and edited audio and video for clients and produced content for their websites. I also worked in sales.

Technical strengths:
I have a good sense of empathy. I like to put myself in other people’s shoes and understand where they are coming from. I only want to do what’s best for the customer!

My father is a content strategist for Thread Marketing Group in Toledo, OH. My mother owns her own media business in Toledo, and my brother Alex is a local artist in the Toledo area.

Hummus . . . Oh man, I love me some hummus and tortilla chips.

What's the biggest gig you've ever played?
I sang at Carnegie Hall the day after Christmas 2011 with a barbershop harmony chorus!

Adam and Anthony were outstanding. Adam helped me with my original order and even contacted me to let me know that it was on back order and was I ok with it being a while before I would receive my mixer. He went out of his way to change my order when I got impatient and changed my mind about the unit I wanted. When I got the original unit and it didn't work they went above and beyond to quickly get me a replacement and took care of all the details.
