Winter NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) is the biggest trade show of the year for the musical instrument and pro audio industry. Each January, manufacturers, retailers, and the press gather in Anaheim, California, for four days of total gear overload. NAMM is where the manufacturers unveil the new products that they’ll be bringing to market during the year, introducing them to retailers and to the press. It’s a closed show, meaning that you can’t get in unless you’re in the industry and have a pass.
