Seller feedback
To create a better buying and selling community, Gear Exchange users have an opportunity to review their experience. After a transaction is completed, buyers will be asked to leave feedback for the seller. The seller can then respond to the buyer's feedback with comments. Review window closes 30 days after item is delivered.
A seller's reviews are combined to determine their aggregate seller rating (1-5 stars).
Tips for Receiving Positive Feedback as a Seller
- Describe your gear accurately in the listing
- Be clear about what will or will not be included (cables, cases, etc)
- Upload multiple photos and include closeups of any dings or damage
- When in doubt about the condition, choose the lower grade
- Respond to messages and offers in a timely, respectful way
- Ship quickly and provide tracking for the buyer
- Pack your item carefully to avoid damage
Reviewing the Buyer
After each sale on Gear Exchange, you’ll be asked to rate and leave feedback for the buyer. This is your chance to be heard and to help us incentivize good overall marketplace behavior.
