Buyer feedback
To create a better buying and selling community, Gear Exchange users have an opportunity to review their experience. After a transaction is completed, sellers will be asked to rate the buyer and leave an (optional) note for internal review. Review window closes 30 days after item is delivered.
A buyer's reviews are combined to determine the aggregate buyer rating (1-5 stars).
Tips for Receiving Positive Feedback as a Buyer
- Make fair, competitive offers to kick things off smoothly
- Respond to messages and offers in a timely, respectful way
- Be patient... most sellers are fellow musicians juggling personal and work schedules
- Ask questions up front if you are unsure about a listing, to avoid disappointment
- If something goes wrong, reach out to the admin team so we can help mediate
