How do returns work?
When a seller lists an item on Gear Exchange, they will be able to choose whether or not to accept returns and in what time frame: 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, or 30 days.
"No Returns" Return Policy
Sellers have the option to list an item as: “No returns - this item is sold as-is". Sellers are not required to accept returns without cause (meaning there was nothing wrong with the product or the representation of the product).
Return Shipping
If an item is returned without cause, the buyer will be refunded the original amount paid, less any amount they may have paid for shipping. If shipping was free, the buyer will receive a full refund.
If an item is received not-as-described, the buyer will be issued a full refund and the seller will pay the return shipping cost. Either way, the buyer will be required to arrange return shipping and ship the item in a timely manner.
Restocking Fees
As of February 2023, Gear Exchange sellers are no longer able to set a restocking fee as part of the listing creation process.
Sweetwater's Gear Exchange takes buyer and seller protection very seriously. In the event of any situation where a return is necessary, GX Support will be standing by to assist.
